How to unlock the Jedi Grand Master achievement in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II - Definitive Guide

4 TIPS. QUICK N EASY:

1. USE THE FOCUS CRYSTAL FOR YOUR SECONDARY SABER AT ALL TIMES. YOUR FORCE ENERGY RE-CHARGES INFURIATINGLY SLOW ON UNLEASHED DIFFICULTY, SO THE LESS FORCE POWER YOU USE, THE BETTER.

2. MIND TRICK LEVEL 3 IS A MUST. HIT EVERY ENEMY POSSIBLE WITH THIS ON EVERY STAGE OF THE GAME! IT WILL BUY YOU TIME TO DEAL WITH UN-MIND-TRICKED ENEMIES, AND WILL ELIMINATE WEAKER ENEMIES ALTOGETHER. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE FIGHT WITH VADER AT THE END WILL BE 1000 TIMES EASIER! TRUST ME.

2. A FULLY CHARGED LEVEL 3 SABER THROW WILL KILL ANY AT-ST OR WARDROID IN ONLY 2 THROWS. THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO KILL THEM. ALSO, PARRYING THE ROCKETS SHOT AT YOU BY THE AT-MP'S IS TOO RISKY (YOU'LL LOSE UP TO A WHOLE 3RD OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU SCREW-UP THE TIMING!) - FORCE GRAB THEM INSTEAD, AND SIMPLY THROW EM BACK. :)

3. WHEN FIGHTING VADER, IMMEDIATELY THROW LIGHTNING AT HIM. THIS HE WILL DEFLECT. WHILE HE IS DEFLECTING THE LIGHTNING, DASH AT HIM AND HIT HIM WITH THE 3-HIT X-X-Y COMBO. HE CANNOT BLOCK THIS. THROW LIGHTNING AGAIN. HE WILL DEFLECT. HIT HIM WITH X-X-Y AGAIN. WASH, RINSE, REPEAT. BUT DON'T GET GREEDY! CONTINUE THIS PATTERN, MIND TRICK THE CLONES WHEN NECESSARY, AND YOU WILL CRUISE RIGHT THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF THE FIGHT. :)

4. WHEN FIGHTING VADER IN THE FINAL SEGMENT, USE THE SAME STRATEGY AS ABOVE - IT WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL! I WAS ABLE TO KICK HIS ASS IN A MATTER OF MINUTES! THROW LIGHTING, X-X-Y, THROW LIGHTING, X-X-Y, ETC. DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR PROXIMITY TO THE TOWERS - JUST KEEP ATTACKING HIM. IF YOU DO HAPPEN TO GET HIT BY THE LIGHTNING TOWERS, NO BIGGIE. JUST THROW LIGHTING AGAIN, DASH AT HIM, AND CONTINUE THE ONSLAUGHT! IF ANYTHING, YOU WILL BE WHACKING HIM ALL AROUND THE ARENA, AND WILL SHOVE HIM UP AGAINST THE TOWERS EVEN FASTER USING THIS METHOD! THEN JUST SHOCK THE SHIT OUT OF HIM! :) WHEN HE'S DONE GETTING SHOCKED, HE'LL TRY TO THROW LIGHTNING AT YOU. SIMPLY BLOCK UNTIL HE'S DONE, DASH AT HIM, THROW YOUR OWN LIGHTNING, AND CONTINUE WHIPPING HIS DARKSIDE! (HAHA, GET IT?) KEEP IT COOL, STICK WITH THE PATTERN, AND YOU WILL OWN HIM.

There is some good advice here, but you should consider typing this with caps lock DISABLED.

It would help more if it wasn't in all caps. It may be your preference, but it's not the preference of 99% of people out there.

Reading this is caps was really intense, and I feel like it really brought the guide to life. Great work though, I'm entering this with much more confidence, and know-how! I am the 1% that didn't mind the caps, as stated before. :P

Definitely helped on the final battle. I found it easier to use lightning while I walked up to him and then use XXY instead of rushing at him. Thanks!

This is just not doing it for me. The XXY tip got me through the first part of the battle, but the towers keep messing everything up. Sometimes he’ll just stand in one while it’s been hit by lightening and if I try and rush in there I get hit... but of course he’s not taking any damage... Also, wtf is with that unblockable lightening he throws? I can’t seem to find any way to interrupt that or avoid it once the animation has started. So frustrating...

Does that cheat glitch from the previous game work?

By FlawlessPine483 on 22 Nov 2021 21:02
Just a heads up for future reference. If you're beating all the chapters in sequential order via chapter select, make sure after you complete the first chapter on Unleashed, that it registers. You can exit to main menu and highlight the chapters under chapter select and it will tell you which difficulty you last completed it on. For some reason the game might not give you credit for being the first chapter on Unleashed (despite it clearly being set to the difficulty gameplay-wise).

This common glitch occurred with me where after I beat the game on Unleashed, I received no achievements. Upon going into chapter select, I realized I got credit for clearing all stages except the first one. After beating the first stage again on Unleashed, everything popped.

Beware of this minor glitch when going for this achievement to avoid having to beat the first stage twice on Unleashed.

ONE MORE QUICK TIP:

FOR ME, PROBABLY THE MOST DIFFICULT & INFURIATING PART OF THE GAME WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TOWER ON THE LAST CAMINO LEVEL - THIS IS WHERE IT SHOWS A CUT-SCENE OF THE TOWER AND ALL THOSE DANG PLATFORMS YOU NEED TO ASCEND TO REACH JUNO.

WHEN YOU MOVE FORWARD, YOU WILL BE ASSAULTED FIRST BY JUMP TROOPERS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE PLATFORM. DON'T BE COCKY! THEIR BLASTERS HACK AWAY AT YOUR LIFE LIKE CRAZY ON UNLEASHED DIFFICULTY! SO SIMPLY WALK FORWARD WHILE BLOCKING, THEN SHOCK THEM ONCE THEY'RE DONE SPRAYING.

NEXT IS THE HARD PART. ACOLYTES AND ELITE GUARDS, FOLLOWED BY TERROR TROOPERS. GREAT. ACOLYTES CAN'T BE MIND-TRICKED, BUT ELITE GUARDS CAN! WOO-HOO! MIND TRICK THEM IMMEDIATELY. LET THEM ATTACK THE ACOLYTES, THEN QUICKLY PICK OFF THE STRAGGLING GUARDS ONE-BY-ONE. I'VE FOUND THAT FORCE REPULSE WORKS LIKE A CHARM ON THE GUARDS. THEY CAN'T BLOCK IT! ONCE THEY'RE BLASTED IN THE AIR, GRAB EM AND THROW EM OFF THE LEDGE. YOU MIGHT BE TEMPTED TO SABER IMPALE THEM, BUT IT TAKES TOO MUCH TIME.

IF YOU'VE TIMED IT RIGHT, THE MIND-TRICKED GUARDS SHOULD BE CLOSE TO FINISHING-OFF THE ACOLYTES BY NOW. IF NOT, DASH UP TO ONE, AND SHOOT A FORCE PUSH AT HIM. HE'LL BLOCK IT. WHILE HE'S BLOCKING, HE'S VULNERABLE TO SABER ATTACKS OR THE Y+B THROW. I RECOMMEND THE THROW, AS YOU'RE BASICALLY INVULNERABLE TO ATTACKS FROM OTHER ENEMIES WHILE IN THE AIR. SMACK HIM WITH THE X-X-B AIR COMBO TO PUSH HIM OFF THE LEDGE. USE THIS STRATEGY WITH ANY REMAINING ACOLYTES.

NEXT ARE THE TERROR TROOPERS. A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS, THESE DUDES. GRRRRR... THEY WILL PROBABLY SPAWN BEFORE THE OTHER GUYS ARE FINISHED-OFF TOO, SO KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED. SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO MIND-TRICK THESE GUYS, BUT I FIND IT TOO SKETCHY IN A WICKED FIGHT LIKE THIS. INSTEAD, I SHOOT LIGHTNING OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE! LOL IT'LL HIT ANY TERROR TROOPERS IN ITS PATH, AND FORCE THE ACOLYTES TO BLOCK. ONCE YOU SHOCK A TROOPER, DASH OVER AND THROW HIS ASS WITH THE Y+B THROW, THEN SMACK HIM OFF THE LEDGE WITH THE X-X-B AIR COMBO, JUST AS ABOVE. ONCE ALL ENEMIES ARE REMOVED, YOU CAN PROCEED. EXCELLENT!

REMEMBER: KEEP IT COOL! DON'T PANIC, AND USE THE TECHNIQUES ABOVE TO LAY WASTE TO THESE DOUCHERS! IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET THIS PART DOWN, SO I HOPE THIS HELPS YA'LL! :)

***SPOILERS ALERT!!!!***
OK, I just got this achievement so here the guide it will take me some time to complete the guide but please bear with me and I will take suggestions and tips as well, thanks.

I have confirmed that you cannot play through the game on "Easy" and then change the difficulty setting to "Unleashed" before you finish the final boss, this will NOT unlock the achievement. Each level must be STARTED on "Unleashed" mode and finished for this achievement to unlock.

(I beat the game on "Unleashed", waited for the credits and my achievement did not pop up... I looked at my level select and noticed the first level was not beat on unleashed, I must have changed the difficulty form Easy to "Unleashed" after I beat the game once.)

"Unleashed" mode can only be unlocked by finishing the game on ANY difficulty. And if you did as I did, start the game on "Easy" then beat the game on "Unleashed" all lower difficulties will also unlock. The achievement should pop right when the FINAL cut-scene starts after you choose which side (Light or Dark).

The differences on "Unleashed": #1 Enemies do more damage, #2 You receive less health for each enemy you kill, #3 Your Force Bar takes longer to replenish, #4 You have no Health Regeneration, NONE whatsoever. #5 Your Force Bar depletes faster. I think that is all the differences between the difficulty settings.

Boss #1: Space ship. (forgot the name of it :P)
This guy isn't very hard at all even on hardest difficulty. When hes using his lasers just hide behind the barricades. Only come out when he shoots one missile at a time, rebound these single missile attacks either by using Force Grip or your parry move (press the X button 1 second before the missile hits you). When he does the 4 missile attack simply hide behind the barricades or move out of the way. Press the button combinations when prompted. Rinse and Repeat and you have him.

Boss #2: Gorog
This guy is the 2nd toughest boss in the game I think.
Phase 1 attacks:
Hand Swipe: Double jump and mid-air dash out of the way.
Fist Pound: Dash out of the way.
Palm Pound: This one is quick and has much more range than the Fist Pound. Just wait until the last second and Super Dash out of the way (Super Dash is performed by dashing and immediately performing the force push maneuver after you dash, it give you a little extra of a dash and knocks down any enemies in your direct path.).
Breath Attack: Block.
Double Ground Pound: Lightning 1 hand, it will take just slightly over a full bar of lightning if your force bar is 100% maxed out. Follow through with the button sequence, then rinse and repeat for the 2nd hand.
Extended Breath Attack: Block until his face is turned the other way, then lightning him. You'll need to do this until all of his green bar is gone.

Phase 2: He is quicker in phase too and there are stormtroopers every now and again as well.
Triple Hand-Stomp: Wait till he smashes twice then dash out of the way before his 3rd smash.
Force Push seems to be most effective as it uses very little force power and its does the most damage. You'll want to switch to lightsaber attacks when hes hanging form the top though.

Phase 3: Compared to the 1st 2 phases this one is a joke, simply dodge upwards and use force push to break through the objects that are incoming. Also use the Dash maneuver to speed this phase up, when you get closer try to upwards dodge and force lightning him. once you get even close just use Lightsaber Throws. This phase isn't hard at all. Good luck. I think I spent a little over an hour on this dude my 1st time through on "Unleashed" difficulty.

Boss 3: Large Spider thingy (Steve)
This dude himself isn't tough- its all the little guys around him. TOP PRIORITY- take out the "Disappearing Siths" 1st, as they are the most formidable. To do this effectively just Force lightning them once the appear near you, they will be stunned now, so smash in a lightsaber combo or 2 and they are done for. Also anytime you see a "blinky mini spider" coming up on you then Force Repulse him, no need to charge it up. Use the explode Barrels nearby to Force Grip and throw at the "Large Spider", they do massive amounts of damage. Remember to keep dashing this whole fight and try to fight away from the "Large Spider", only once you've taken out enough enemies or received enough health form killing lots of small spiders, then you should go and attack the big spider. At one point the "Large Spider" will get his shields up, then you need to place all 4 power converters back into their slots (remember to Force Repulse all the "blinky mini spiders" before doing this on each power converter). Once that is done, attack him some more then you will be able to ride him. This is the easy part- simply use your missile and laser attacks to kill all the "human size spiders" around, (I think there is 3 or 4 of them.), then move the "Large Spider" into the large beam. End of fight. The tough thing about this fight is all the dudes that are attacking you at once, rather than 1 dude. Best of Luck! This was the hardest fight for me.

More to come soon.

Can you go back and redo each level on unleashed after finishing the game or do you need to start over from scratch like in the first game?

Kolpaka-
I have confirmed recently that you dont lose progress like you did in the first one. They are a little more lenient this time around- You have a particular save file and everything is attributed to the file. Everything done within the file is merely a formality. You can choose at Level Select what difficulty you want to play on at any time rather than in the first one, you either chose your save file or started a new game in order to change difficulty. I went through the game on Normal and tried doing Kamino on Hard (Haven't finished game yet) and I still had all of my xp and powers.

If you have Mind Trick at rank 3 it makes the terror troops(invisible sith) a lot easier because they will fight for you and also explode after the duration. I just spam mind trick until I see the blue swirl around their head and they don't bother me while I'm charging/placing the power nodes. I found this easier than the lighting however both work really well.

Actually believe it or not in phase 1 you have to be all the way in the front dirrectly in front, all of his attacks miss you the fist smash and the slap smash never hit you, All you have to do is hold block in case of his breath and just jump and dash when he tries to swipe also when he does the fist pound since he pauses for a bit you can do a simple lighitng combo x,x,y i noticed this actually count's as you charging up his shackels since you do hit him with a lighitng saber. In fact i can give more tips i never get hit with this boss in any phase for me he is the simplest boss for me now (^-^)b

I'm going for unleashed at the minute and purely from asking around I've discovered not many people realise that when fighting the carbonite droids you can force throw the carbonite back at them, freeze them and kill them with a full repulse. Made it very easy for me, just incase people didnt try it.

@MegaManMasterer- Great job so far with the guide.

Difficulty glitch happened to me too. I clearly and know for a fact that I began my Unleashed playthrough on the first stage, played all the way through up to beating Vader, but achievement did not pop right before credits.

I exited to main menu, checked the chapter select. All chapters were listed as last being completed on Unleashed except it said I last cleared the first stage on Easy despite me clearly already beating it on Unleashed previously. After replaying the first stage AGAIN on Unleashed, all the achievements popped during the cutscene. The weird thing is, when I originally beat the first stage on Unleashed, it was SET to the hardest difficulty because I was taking way more damage and my Force Powers were regenerating way slower but for some reason I still never got credit for clearing it on Unleashed.

This glitch may have something to do with beating the game on a set difficulty and reverting to the first stage on a new difficulty before the game properly registers it. I suggest that anyone who beats the first stage on Unleashed to back out and check to make sure the game registers it so that the difficulty-based achievements can unlock properly after you defeat Vader on the final chapter.

Guide for the Vader Fight:

Phase 1: The Tower.

In this part you will be in a "dream mode" for part of it. You have limited look, limited movement, walking through halls and Vader will pop out and saber-lock you every so often. Loosing these doesn't seem to have any impact on your health.

After the dream mode you will encounter Vader on the cloning tower. Follow him up it. Dashing attacks to his unguarded side (The hand not holding the saber) are effective to a point. If you can dash past him and attack from behind you do more damage faster, but it is hard to do that. Every so often Vader will release your clones on you. If you can mind trick them, they will attack him and allow you to attack and do even more damage.
I was rarely able to trick all the clones at once. I usually would end up with no force power and 2 clones left. Just kill them for the health. You will need it.

Parry and counter attacks also get you some good damage and keep you fairly safe. Wait until Vader is pulling his saber back and then hold LT until he strikes. He will be pushed back a bit and then you can press your attack against him. Don't get greedy. Any time you engage him with the saber take 3 or 4 swipes and then dash out. After about 5 he gets his wits about him, and gets mad and begins a flurry of his own that is hard to parry.

If he raises his hand like he is about to strike while you are more than saber striking distance away, block. He is about to throw his saber at you.

Phase 2: The Lightning Rods

This is the part where you fight Vader outside and are in Force Furry the whole time. Unlike in the rest of the game Force Furry does NOT make you invincible here. Don't act like you are.

The key to this part is the lightning. And it goes both ways. Vader can stand between the rods and not get hurt. You cannot. On the other hand, trying to keep him near them is your best bet to win this part quickly. Dash at him and smash X as fast as you can. The idea is to get him into a saber-lock near one of the lightning rods. Don't screw up the lock as he will do massive damage if you do. If you win it though you throw him up on the rod and have to hit Y fast. The faster you hit it the more damage you do while he is up there. In this manner you can do the same amount of damage in seconds that it would take you 10 minutes to do in normal fighting.

When he comes down from the rod however, do not press the attack. Run and block. He will bring both his hands up and draw lightning to you. This will take out 1/2 to 3/4 of your health bar in one instance if you don't block it.

After you get Vader up on a rod for the 3rd time he will have little health left and it will stop going down with a tiny bit left. This means the end is very near. He will come down, throw you and you will be left hanging. Hit left on the LS 3 times to avoid his saber throws and then be ready to tap B. You will have to tap B until you pick up the spire he has thrown at you, and hold RT while tapping B again to throw another one back. Once you have done that you have won. It's just a matter of choosing light or dark side at the end of the game.

Just played this last night. Was getting really bored with the slow battle at the very end at the lightning rods. Thank god for your solution or I would have sat around fighting Vader for an hour before he would have died. Never thought about just shoving him toward the rods to exploit the purpose of the lightning rods in the fight. After reading this I beat him in a matter of 2-3 minutes.

Also you might want to just throw into your solution somewhere that when you are in saber-lock that you will need to be ready to either hit the X or the Left Trigger button quickly toward the middle of it in order to shove him up against the lighting rod.

Damn I wish I'd known about throwing him against the rods. Made the fight much easier on hard using this strategy than it was on either medium or easy without it! D'Oh!!!

Pay attention to Vader's stance in the first half of the fight (indoors) - if he's holding his saber in front of him with both hands, be prepared to parry his attacks; if he's holding his saber with one hand down to the side, you have leave to whip his ass with a flurry of saber attacks. It should also be noted to never use repulse or push, Vader will always reflect them back at you.

During the second half of the fight (outdoors) be aware that you can only block his lightning attack from a distance. In addition, I pressed the attack the entire second half of the fight, as it seems Vader is vulnerable to damage regardless of his stance. I kept mashing the saber attack button the entire time I wasn't preparing to parry, and finished the entire sequence about 3/4 health (cause I got sluggish on a couple of parries).

In all, don't be afraid of Vader -- he's slow as hell and swings far too widely, and his attacks can be easily parried, allowing you to open a can of whoop ass on him.

Yeah, the key to defeating Vader is block and then strike. When you block him and attack, you get a chunk of his health off. Do that in the clone spire area, and don't forget to Mind Trick the clones to attack Vader. That will help you a lot.
Once you get to the outside battle, line him up with the lightning tower behind him, block and attack, and if you do line him up it will always prompt the animated scene where it tells you to hit certain buttons. He will get plastered to the rod, and you will get his power down. Rinse and repeat. I figured this all out on Unleashed difficulty, and it worked like a charm. You may even be able to defeat him before he gets in too many, if any, lightning attacks.

A few things I found helpful to complete the game on Unleashed:
* Definitely start from the same save with upgraded powers. If you're not fully upgraded yet, it won't take long to rack up points on Unleashed difficulty.
* If you start Unleashed not fully upgraded, focus on getting level 3 powers on mind control. It may not be as cool as other powers, but it's great to take biological enemies to stop fighting you while you concentrate on droid enemies. This especially comes in handy when fighting Vader at the end. Use this a couple times to control 3 biologics per use. Many times, you can then repulse them off a ledge because most won't try to block.
* When the gorog swipes his hand across the ground (first segment), dash toward the back of the arena, then double jump in the direction of where is hand landed and dash in mid-air. This should easily get you over his hand. It's less likely that you'll jump over his arm which is higher so definitely get back.
* During the second and third segments of the gorog battle (when he's hanging and when he's falling), use Force push instead of lightning. This seems to do more damage and gets you from check point to check point faster.
* Another power to focus on level 3 upgrades is repulse. This gets you out of tight situations. I also recommend at least one Focus saber crystal to use less Force power letting you use repulse more.
* For the larger droids keep your distance and throw your sabers. Helps to have the level 3 upgrade for this as well.
* When fighting the terror walker (giant robot spider boss), focus on dashing around the room and taking out the terror droids (? - the invisible guys) by shocking them and then using repulse a couple of times. Repulse will also take out the spider droids.
* Still regarding the terror walker, I recommend blowing up the crates from a distance. I died by these exploding from either missles fired by terror droids, or my own lightning / force push / repulse and killing me.
* When you have to put the power cells back in the wall when fighting the terror droid, clear the area around you, get close to the power cell, and quickly put it in the wall. Dash away immediately and dash toward the next one. Once all of these are in the wall, then go back around and charge them. Because the cells take time to seat, you may not have time to put them in the wall and charge them at the same time.
* When fighting Vader on the cloning platforms, definitely use mind control on the clones. Not only when Vader often focus his attention on them and off you for a short while, you can then repulse them off the platform many times or at least saber the heck out of them.
* When fighting Vader on the final segment (when you're "Fury-ous"), stay away from the towers and edge. These are electrified. Instead, push him toward the edge as you hack away at him (even if he blocks) and you'll run him into the towers and the edge. Immediately dash away once when he starts to get shocked. Rinse and repeat.
* When Vader tries to shock you (often right after a Quick Time Event), wait until his hands go back and then block (just like blocking a saber or staff strike). Hold the block and you shouldn't take any damage (the damage can be substantial otherwise).

This is more of an overall opinion than an actual solution:

Parry Vader - It takes away just as much health as doing the whole lightning zap and hitting him a few times, and it saves your force powers for something more useful, like mind trick. Plus, Vader has a nasty habit of (sometimes) reflecting your zap back at you. All I did was get close, parry his attacks, mind control clones and go through the cut scenes.

This battle was 100x easier than the first game. Actually, doing this game on this difficulty was a 100x easier than the first game.

This ain't really a solution but a tip that nobody has seemed to note. Use your Force Rage by pressing both analogue sticks. As long as there are easy kills around it will regenerate and will not go down again if you die. In this mode you have unlimited Force and can not die.

Tips when fighting Vader;
+ Try to dash just to the side of him. you can catch him off guard with a small lightsaber combo, then dash away again.
+ Be prepared to block when he throws his saber at you.
+ When he's on a seperate platform and throwing those Cloning Pods at you, catch them with Force Grab and Lightning Charge them before throwing them back. you do a little more damage.
+ On phase 2 of the Vader fight, try to get the cutscene attacks near an electric pylon. this give you an oportunity to amplify Force Lightning and do a good amount of damage.

“Unleashed” is the highest difficulty in the game. And it is unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty. The best approach is to finish the game on Easy first, get as many upgrades as possible, go through the Challenges, then start the Unleashed difficulty via Level Select. This way, you will retain all your upgrades and stats.

Also, the difficulty trophies are stackable, so if you finish the game on Easy, then Unleashed, you will automatically unlock the other two difficulty trophies (Medium and Hard).

Though much easier compared to Sith Master difficulty in the first Star Wars, "Unleashed" difficulty is still challenging, even with all the upgrades. That said, here are some tips for the Unleashed playthrough:

  • (Optional!) If you still don't have your Force Powers maxed out by this point, start by equipping the "Wisdom" lightsaber from the Start menu. The first few levels have a lot of easy enemies so you're bound to max out early on (that is, if you want all your Powers maxed out early, but for the Maxed Out trophy, you'll still get it with or without that lightsaber. Again, this tip is for those who want to be FULLY upgraded early in the Unleashed playthrough).

  • Equip the "Protection" lightsaber, which will greatly cut down the amount of damage you receive.

  • Use Force Repulse whenever your clustered by many enemies to give yourself some space.

  • Whenever you reach a checkpoint with your Force Fury meter full, save. If you use it and then die, exit and choose "Continue" - your Force Fury menu will be full again.

  • Whenever you reach a boss, there will always be smaller enemies floating near by. Try to kill them to replenish your health.

  • On that note, though when you die and respawn during a boss fight, his health may be low, but don't think it's a saved checkpoint - if you quit, then "Continue," you'll start the fight stage you're in from scratch (but not from the beginning of the battle, though).

  • Most importantly, you should employ the following tactics with various enemies:

    • Whenever you run into a variety of enemies in one area, start by taking out the Scouts (snipers) first! Use Force Lightning if they are at a distance. Trust me, that will save you a lot of time and hassle. Their aim is accurate and can stun you, making you vulnerable to attacks from other enemies.

    • When it comes to large droids, remove their shields first (if they have one) and keep using Saber Throw ( + ) to attack them from a distance. Apply the same tactic with the AT-MP and similar enemies, and don't bother grabbing or deflecting their missiles as this may take some time, making you a vulnerable target.

    • Various enemies are impervious to various attacks: Imperial Riot Troopers (enemies in white uniform with a spear-like long weapon) cannot receive direct hits with the Saber Attack, but are vulnerable to Force Power attacks. Saber Guards (enemies in gold armour) and Sith Acolytes (enemies in red uniform) are impervious to direct Saber and Force Power Attacks. With ALL three I would suggest using the Grapple Attack ( + ) at close proximity as it hits each one of them, and stun them to the ground (if not outright kill them). If they're stunned and on the ground, they are vulnerable to all sorts of attacks (Saber or Force), though if there is an open cliff, I would suggest grabbing them with Force Grip and tossing them away.

    • When it comes to Terror Troopers (enemies in a metal armour that disappear and reappear near you to attack), start by using Lightning Force first to stun them, then perform the Grapple Attack and then any other attack you see fit.

After many years, I was finally able to complete the game on the Unleashed difficulty. What had thwarted me was a glitch at the start of Kamino the Return, where the player must hold R and furiously tap A to use the Force to remove debris blocking the path into the facility. There are a lot of posts about this issue in various places online. It occurred to me that a rapid fire enabled controller might be the solution. I cleared the room of enemies and the two turrets, and took position by the debris. I then disconnected the regular 360 controller, and connected my Hori Fighting Stick VX, which has rapid fire enabled for the buttons and the trigger buttons. After all these years, it finally worked, and once the debris was gone I was able to get inside to the next checkpoint. I then disconnected the stick and reconnected the controller, and within an hour I had finally completed the game on Unleashed.

This difficulty level is the highest in the game and is only unlocked after beating the game on any available difficulty level. It is best to play on medium difficulty for the first time, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the plot of the game and the location of the enemies. In addition, you will upgrade your abilities and choose one of two available endings.

  • Use Mind Capture as often as possible / + ", in a pumped-up state, you can cloud the minds of 3 opponents at a time, and six with full consumption of power. Enemies who have lost loyalty attack their comrades, thereby diverting enemy fire to themselves; if all your enemies went to their forefathers, then all those the unfortunate ones whom you managed to subjugate commit suicide (jump into the abyss, kill themselves against the walls, or simply explode).
  • Throw all normal enemies (stormtroopers/royal guards) out of the level or smash them against walls using ( ).
  • Freeze carbonite droids with their own charges using ( ), then quickly run up and do a good combo on the droid (example: + + + + ), destroy fire droids by throwing laser swords ( + ), or when activating "Force Rage / :LS: + :RS:" perform several pulse attacks ( + ).
  • Capture Sith servants with a combination ( + ) and finish off on the ground.
  • To neutralize the Terror Troopers' disguise, strike them with lightning ( ), after which, finish off.
  • Destroy all spiders only with a power impulse ( + ), the better it is pumped, the fewer impulses it will take to destroy the flocks.
  • Repel AT-MP missiles with a timely block ( ) or by capturing them and sending them back to the recipient ( ), AT-ST throws explosive packages that you can also send back, whenever possible, try to throw all kinds of garbage placed at the levels at the cars (the Return to Kamino level is an example of this), throw lightsabers at them ( + ), and remember that friendly fire is turned on in the game, i.e. an AT-MP firing missiles can easily knock out an AT-ST standing on the “firing” line; just a few missiles and the AT-ST can be finished off ( ), this tactic takes place at the hangar defense level, where there will be a lot of enemy forces and little time to think, all you need to do is climb to the balcony not far from the landing site of enemy vehicles, while the AT-MPs will shoot at you remotely, the AT-ST will come close to the balcony and will “eat” all the missiles fired by its friends.
  • There are only 3 bosses in the game and none of them cause any particular difficulties.
  • First ~ Gorog at the Arena location. All you need to do is remember the boss's attack types and learn how to skillfully bypass them, all the while frying the boss with lightning." "until he hits the ground with both hands, then run to one of their hands and hit the bracelet, as soon as you finish it off, quickly insert the bracelet back into the shackles ( ), do the same with your other hand, after the Gorog is gripped, continue frying it until the capture button lights up ( ), after performing easy QTEs, you will be transferred to the balconies, here, with the exception of the bracelets, the tactics are the same, learn the attacks, dodge them, and fry Gorog until he breaks the passage, throw out the arriving soldiers using a blast wave ( ), climb onto the platform and jump over to the next balcony, repeat the previous movements, the next stage is simple as hell, get to Gorog flying into the abyss without colliding with fragments or bodies of stormtroopers by dodging ( ), as you get closer, without releasing the button ( ) dodge Gorog's attacks, don't worry, as soon as you are near his head, the power supply will be automatically restored, repeat the flight 3-4 times and voila!
  • Terror Walker cannot be destroyed from the very beginning, because it is covered by power shields, to deactivate them, remove all the batteries on the walls and lift 4 spiers in the center of the room, then throw explosive barrels at the Walker, which are more than spaced around the room, run and kill him, don't forget to destroy the approaching spiders using momentum ( + ), the second stage, charge and insert back into the sockets all 5 batteries that just flew out, throw barrels at the Walker, turn on the rage of power and finish off, as soon as you “mount” him, lead him straight into a clot of energy in the center of the room.
  • Darth Vader is probably the longest, most uninteresting and easiest boss in the game, try to beat the first stages exclusively with counterattacks (delivered in time + ), as soon as he releases your clones, immediately activate mind capture on six opponents ( + ), they will kill each other off-screen, after you are on the street, the fury of the force will be endless, you can continue to destroy Vader with counterattacks or, after waiting the right time, slip behind him during the swing ( ) and start performing combos, it is important, do not go beyond the electric circle because it harms your health, not Vader’s health, characters will often cross swords followed by several QTEs, if performed correctly, you will pin Vader to the thunderstorm tower and be able to knock him out from above 25% of his health.
