How to unlock the Privateer achievement in Starfield - Definitive Guide
If you're looking for a quick way to get this, I recommend getting a ship that has passenger space - your default ship from the start has it, but If you've moved on to another ship you found, earned, or stole, make sure the new ship has a module that falls into the All-in-One Berth, Living Quarters, or Mess Hall class, no matter what company manufactured it. These all grant 2 passenger slots each.
Mission boards in cities, colony settlements, shipyards, and semi-randomly generated civilian settlements on moons and planets all tend to offer these missions, usually with a generous time requirement, and they're as simple as accepting the mission and proceeding to the location indicated on the quest. You don't need to do anything special to deliver the passengers, just land and walk into whatever location was indicated.
If you're handy with combat, accepting the missions from mission boards for killing a specific target or ship can also be handled quickly. You can accumulate quite a lot of these at once from mission boards on a variety of planets, moons, and stations, and then knock them out quickly with whatever's closest. These almost never have time limits attached either, so it doesn't matter what order you carry them out.

Also to add to this great solution above, I noticed mine tracked any mission not explicitly marked as main or side. So any of the random miscellaneous fetch quests that citizens or companions throw at you also count.

Also worth pointing out that the tracking seems bugged on this. My tracking shows 28 missions, but it randomly popped today when I loaded my save to begin a session.

Starfield has many, many different types of missions if you look in the Missions section of the screen (down on the left joystick). You’ll have Main missions, Faction missions, Misc. Missions, Mission Missions and Activities.

The two we need for this achievement are:
- Misc Missions - Miscellaneous missions in Starfield are essentially the game’s side quests, of which there are absolutely tons of them. Side missions mostly come around by talking to people and following up on Activities - which turn into fully-fledged side missions.
- Mission Missions - There are various different types of Mission missions in Starfield, and the majority of these come from digital notice boards which you can find in the local watering holes - you can even build the kiosks at your Outpost too. They come in various different forms, whether that’s Freestar Collective missions, Constellation missions and a general mission board (where you can do surveys, take on bounty hunter missions, space combat missions and more).
