State of Decay: Year-One

You'll unlock this achievement about 10 minutes into the game when you do a survey tutorial of the area around the ranger station. This unlocked for me when I got rid of all the '?' Points I could see on the map.

During the game you will have a lot of opportunities to scout areas. The first chance comes in the first few minutes of the game. You are told to climb the water tower. Simply look at all areas highlighted with a question mark to get the achievement. A progress bar on the left also indicates how much you have left.
