Is this achievement missable? I received such a radio call but I had to head home first to restock my supplies. Now the mission has disappeared. Will it become available again?

No. These will continuously appear as you're playing.

Also, if you die when you get to the drop site, you will loose the supply drop. A damn feral killed me as I was using a lower level character. You will have to wait for the next one.

So I'm aware that these arent missible, but I'm somehow stuck with the last one. I'm right before the final mission, and Lillys not telling anything anymore via radio, she's also just standing around in my base and not at her usual place. This might be the reason, why I can't get any supply drops anymore - anybodys got an idea how to fix this? Are those cumulative, so that I could at least restart the game and do the first one?

Hmm.. That does seem like it could possibly stop the Supply Drops from showing up. I don't think these have to be done in one playthrough. Supply Drops also appear in the Breakdown and Lifeline DLC's as well.

Idk if it's cumulative or not but I know that being on the final mission won't stop them from spawning. I finished the wall then loaded up my game to get some miscellaneous Cheetos and these supply drops still show up now and again.

Just to confirm: This does not need to be done in one playthrough. Just got it from two plays, both normal state of decay (2 drops) and breakout (3 drops).

This not so much a guide as an exploit to make these easy to get and not lose characters to these like I have angry

When you get the call from lily do not go near the drop , make a note of the location, and start any other mission , clear an infestation, feral hunt etc and go to the CLEO location, now the beacon wont be sounding and you can loot freely. Well you may have a few zombies around but not the respawning masses or the ferals that can instantly tear a full health character in half.

Finish the mission and go back to the cleo drop get credit for completing it.

This might also be very useful to know for Breakdown and Lifeline later.

I was going to say, I've grabbed I think three, but I'm missing a couple and a note came up saying they were done spawning. So you're telling me they are still there? I just have to find them now?

And another one showed up, so maybe they don't stop coming?

This is an awesome exploit. Drove past a search and rescue mission, wen t straight to the beacon location where it was off. Looted all the contents. Went back and rescued the survivor and dropped them off at base. Then went to the supply drop location and the game acknowledged it was done even when I was a fair distance away from it. I encountered only 2 zombies for the whole supply drop mission.

Big thumbs up from me.

I tried this solution, but I found the beacon to still be going. However, the mission I chose was picking up a hero that had appeared. I don't know if that affected it or not. We ended up having to fight a lot of zombies, so it was good that I had the other guy with me. We killed a lot of them with the truck and then hopped out to loot. Anyways, I recommend using a character whose wits have been maxed out and taking a companion who can hopefully fight off stragglers while you loot. But when I went back to the CLEO location after dropping off the hero, I did indeed get credit for it. So +1 for this solution.

In the base game, I only had two calls from Cleo. In my playthrough on Lifeline, I got five.

So I think the Lifeline DLC is the best to get the supply drops.

And for the mass of zombies near the drop, simply move backwards in them with a car (actually a good way to kill zombies without damaging your car) and you will be able to get the drop without problem ;)
