How to unlock the Serial Monogamist achievement in State of Decay: Year-One - Definitive Guide

This is what I did and it still got me the achievement.
Snap achievements on Xbox so that you can see the progress bar move every time you tell the person to follow you.
When you start the game in your camp find a person you can get to follow you then pause the game and check if it is saving if not wait for it to save, After it has stopped saving tell them follow you then in snapped achievements when the progress bar moves simply force quit the game without it saving, when you load the game back you should have the same amount of influence as before. Then simply rince and repeat.
To force quit the game simply press the Xbox button on the controller press start and scroll down to quit.
Here are the steps:
1) Snap achievements and load your game.
2) Find someone who you can ask to follow you.
3) Make sure the game is not saving by the pause menu.
4) Ask them to follow you then when you see the bar move in snapped achievements force quit the game.

To unlock these achievements, press Y to interact with a community member. If the option is available, select "Come with me and watch my back". It will cost 100 influence but not every community member will have this available. Do this 10 times for the Serial Monogamist achievement.

What I did was that I played the Lifeline DLC since you dont have to spend Influence at the Supply Locker.
I played as the Hawkes character (You start with her) and went to Kilo. This way it only costed 20 Influence points instead of 100.I just snapped the Achievement and kept recruiting him and sending him home.
Took me about 10 minutes .
