How to unlock the Watch the Birdie! achievement in State of Decay: Year-One - Definitive Guide


This achievement can be done early on in the game during the "Rescue Lily's Brother" Mission. When you arrive at the barn you can run the zombies over with your car. After the cutscene you will get a few firecrackers and are told to make a distraction.

Go to the blue marker outside, throw the firecrackers and the achievement for completing an objective by distracting zombies will pop.

My inventory was full and did not recieve anything i can use as distraction. Cleared space and nothing to found anywhere.

So heads up, keep some space free for this mission.

If you find yourself in the same situation as me (read above) just get in a car, drive into the highlighted mission circle and keep honking the horn (press left stick) until the meter is filled (only takes a few seconds).
