The Bryer's Disc is an item you start the game with, consisting of a circular disc with a square hole in the middle and different icons with arrows around the outside. There may be unscripted opportunities to use it earlier in the game, but the story will lead you to using it for the first time on Day 7.
Early on day 7, you'll receive a letter which simply states 'Kentmere Eye'. Looking at the map, you'll quickly see that the town of Kentmore is at C24. However clicking on Kentmere itself doesn't lead to any discovery. What you need to do instead it position the Bryer's Disc over Kentmere (C24) and then follow the eye arrow in the bottom right of the disc. The arrow should be pointing at E27, which will lead you to a new plant discovery, unlocking this achievement.
