How to unlock the Guardian of the Forest achievement in Strange Horticulture - Definitive Guide

This achievement is missable.
On day 10, Bethany Coleman will come to you stating that the forest is in danger and you must place an offering at the alter of Arduinna. She'll give you a map clue and leave. Follow the clue to I19 and you'll have the choice between offering Embersoul or Cauldery. You will need to offer Embersoul, otherwise you will fail to save the Sisterhood. Embersoul is a pretty distinctive plant with large teal flowers and jagged leaves. The game makes it pretty obvious which plant this is as the inspection text makes it clear it has the sharp leaves described in the book.
You will need to then progress the story until the beginning of day 12 when Bethany Coleman revisits and recounts what happened after your offering. Once she leaves, the achievement will unlock.
If you miss this achievement on your initial playthrough, you can likely reload the day 10 start and play from there. Keep in mind, this may overwrite your existing saves for day 11 and 12.
