Nuzzle points are not tracked anywhere, so pay special attention to the amount of nuzzles you do. You can start this achievement in Chapter 4, The Slums.
All information in this guide has been acquired through the Stray Wiki, PowerPyx's Collectible Guide, and my own individual playthrough.
There are 13 total companions that you can nuzzle up against throughout the story. However, most guides I have found only show 10. I have compiled and listed all 13 in chronological order below. Thankfully, you only need 5 to get the achievement.
Note: Personally, I nuzzled the Guardian, reloaded the checkpoint for an unrelated reason, then nuzzled all four in the slums and the achievement unlocked for me.
In the Slums (Chapter 4 & 6):
- Guardian
Toward the beginning of the chapter during a cutscene, you will interact with a robot holding a staff named Guardian. After the cutscene, you may nuzzle up against his golden leg.
- Zakk & Riko
From Guardian turn around and go down the stairs across from him, take the next left, you’ll see 2 robots at a burning barrel. You can nuzzle against both of them. The first on the couch is Riko. The second standing is Zakk.
- Grandma
Going right down the path next to Riko & Zakk will lead you to a set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, head to your immediate left. At the end of the alley is Grandma, sitting in her shop.
In Antvillage (Chapter 9):
- Zbaltazar
He is found at the top of Antvillage meditating. You can go behind him to nuzzle him
In Midtown (Chapter 10):
- Ledoc
After the first cutscene ends, go through the train and up the escalators. Go through the hole in the fence and turn to the right and you will see him next to a memory.
- Bonobot
From the last spot leave this room and head outside, turn right, go up 4 steps of stairs, turn left to see an elevator in a fence area roped off. Jump the railing on the left to get behind the elevator. There you will find a robot you can Nuzzle as well as a scratching spot.
- Paoudre
Immediately after receiving the Chapter 10 "Midtown" title card, there will be a robot at the second shop on the right. It is a yellow building. The robot is wearing a white puffy jacket.
- Krooni & Koondry
Continuing down the street, up a ramp and across the market square (where the hologram is) there is a restaurant. There are two robots to nuzzle at a table chatting.
- Peacemaker 198
To the immediate left of Krooni & Koondry there is a Police robot inspecting a vehicle. You can nuzzle him.
- Jeanma
A Street Dancer on the ground floor of the Residence. You will meet him during story progress in Chapter 10. After
the trio will be found queuing for the nightclub. Jeanma can now be nuzzled where he is sitting.
- Alex
He will let you into the nightclub through a window around back. After closing the window, he will sit down and you can then nuzzle him.
You can mop up any nuzzles in chapter select if needed.

Throughout your time in Stray, you will come across many robot citizens who are going about their day-to-day life. You can interact with nearly every robot you encounter, some you can even nuzzle up to, but not all of them.
For this trophy, you need to nuzzle up against 5 robots throughout the whole of Stray. This shouldn't be too difficult to achieve as there are more than 5 robots you can do this to. Here is a list of 5 robots you can nuzzle against if you are struggling!
The Guardian is the first robot you can nuzzle
The first robot you can nuzzle is The Guardian who you will automatically interact with after progressing through The Slums.
These two lovely robots will appreciate the nuzzle
There are two more robots in The Slums that you can nuzzle against. They can be found by turning around after meeting The Guardian and taking the first left. They are sat around a barrel. Very hard to miss.
The fourth robot you can nuzzle up against
When you first enter The Slums all the robots will run away from you in fear. After The Guardian calms everyone down, backtrack a little and you should see this robot sitting on a seat, simply go up to them and nuzzle their legs.
The next encounter won't be for a while
The first 4 nuzzles will all come quite quickly, but then you will have a lull until you reach the chapter called Antvillage. Here there is 1 robot you can nuzzle up against. They are the robot with a bunch of televisions behind them. To nuzzle up against this robot you will need to go behind him, then the prompt will appear. I surprisingly didn't unlock the trophy here. I am unsure if this was a bug, or if this robot doesn't count.
The final robot you will need
The final robot you will need (or I needed) for the trophy can be found just as you enter Midtown. After coming up through the train station and going under the wire gate, the robot will be sitting in a little side room to your right.
With that, you have nuzzled against 5 different robots. You can find a few more around Midtown if you missed any of these ones, but following this guide should net you the trophy with ease! Enjoy your lovely little silver trophy!

When you get into the slums and B-12 translates the Guardian robot, you’ll be able to start nuzzling against robots throughout the game - by hitting 
on their legs. Here’s a list of 5 you can nuzzle against (nuzzle means to rub up against them) and their locations (this one is across two chapters, so try not to miss them):
The Slums:
1. The guardian who turns off the alarm, you can nuzzle against his leg after the cutscene.
2. Grandma, who runs the clothing shop near the start of the level, you can nuzzle against her.
3 & 4. If you jump out the back window in the upstairs of the pub, you’ll find 2 robots there to the left near the oil drum fire. You can rub against both of their legs.
5. You can nuzzle against Zbaltazar in Antvillage as well, just go round to him back for the prompt.
(the trophy didn’t pop for me then though, so maybe he doesn’t count)
Midtown:
6. As you come out the subway after AntVillage, on the way to Midtown, Ledoc is on the right (listen for their music) and nuzzle against them.
7. Behind the elevator down (opposite the entrance to Midtown stripe) is Bonobot by a couple of beds.
