Easy way to get this achievement is to do the following
Go to options > settings> rounds 1
Back out to main menu
Multiplayer > Local Match
Choose Sean and pick anyone else for the 2nd controller
then beat up player 2 until they have very low health, then use Sean taunt to throw basketballs at 2nd player!
(To taunt press Heavy Kick + Heavy punch at the same time)
Once match is finished you should get the achievement.

Sean is a great choice for this achievement, I had been trying with Urien but since you have to be so close for his to deal damage they would kick me away or I would mess up and do a fierce attack by mistake. Sean's ranged taunt gets around both these problems.
The fact you can do it in local versus also makes it much easier but I didn't do it that way.

Dudley's taunt works for this as well.

Kill someone with a taunt in either arcade or multiplayer. Dudley's, Elena's, Ibuki's, Ken's, Necro's, Sean's, and Urien's taunts all can do damage; Elena's is probably the easiest to hit with in normal play, along with Dudley's and Sean's projectiles.

yun's taunt can give damage and im pretty sure makato can cause when i did it on oro, just as the taunt was about to finish he parried it. mabye everyones can do damage but it depends how close you are from them. but other than that i still agree with your preferred players.

ken's taunt can do damage but it has to be real close

This trophy is for defeating an opponent using a taunt. The easiest method is to go in to local versus and set up a match playing as Shawn versus any opponent. Lower their health as much as possible, then press Heavy punch/Heavy kick at the same time (L1/L2) and try to knock them out with the basketball. It only takes one round to obtain the trophy.

Just a minor correction. The character is Sean, not Shawn. There is no one named Shawn in this game.

The challenge "Sticks & Stones" is for winning a round with a taunt, the first tier of the challenge requires you to do it once.
To perform a taunt you must input

You can do this in either a Local Match or Player Match in Multiplayer. To make the process faster have the player who will be dying set their handicap to 1 star then you can just weaker him with a couple
inputs and then finish them off with the taunt for your trophy.
