How to unlock the It's a real groaner! achievement in Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse - Definitive Guide
For anyone else out there who has trouble with keeping rhythm and is tearing their hair out during the "double beats" section/round 4, I would recommend focusing on the button press AFTER the double beat. I spent a good 30 minutes thinking I was screwing up the timing on the double press when really I was just missing the beat after the double.
It helped me to think of the double beat and the one after as three presses in a continuous rhythm, which is quite quick! be ready to move your finger to the other button pretty fast. Still a fairly challenging achievement, but hopefully this helps someone.
EDIT: GamerWedders has posted some great tips in the comments below, so I'm going to quote them here

Some additional tips:
* In case people haven't noticed, the bonus round where there are 8 buttons per set rather than 4 is actually just doubled up, i.e it's the same 4 buttons repeated. I was a bit frazzled by the time I reached this so I didn't pick up on it right away.
* You can spam the buttons. This gets a bit hazardous in the faster rounds, but I found it useful to just start spamming the first button as Stubbs walks to the dancefloor, and start spamming the next button each time I heard the 'ackowledgement beep'.
Good luck folks.
I would also like to add that you can pause at any time if you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. If you missed a part of the sequence you need to remember, you could even record a clip while paused and watch it back until you feel confident on what you need to do.* In case people haven't noticed, the bonus round where there are 8 buttons per set rather than 4 is actually just doubled up, i.e it's the same 4 buttons repeated. Hi guys.
First off, great tips from GamerWedders. I may update my solution to quote him on those.
xxxIsaiahxxx, I'm sorry to hear this is souring you on Stubbs. It's also one of my favorite games, but I can definitely get where you're coming from. However, I wouldn't say you need to remember 32 in a row. At most it's 8 per turn (which even then is the same 4 twice over, so the most taxing it gets memory-wise is ~5 button presses) before you can focus on the next set.
If necessary, you could even pause after the chief has done his sequence, record a clip if you can't remember what he did, write down the order, practice in your head, then resume. This would significantly increase the time required per attempt, but it should make it so anyone can know what they need to press going in to each step.

Additional to the guide that is here with tips for the double beats, another great tip is to get a pen and a piece of paper for the last round and write down the sequences when you get a difficult or confusing one. For example, you may get these ones:
XYXX --->XYXXXYXX
BBYB --->BBYBBBYB
So if you get these sequences or anything else that confuses you, just write it down and go over it in your head. You are especially prone to making mistakes when you get nervous. It took me around 5 hours to get this done, just be patient and keep at it!
Here is a video I found so that you can see what you're up against if you haven't started the game yet (video is not mine):

You need to not make a single mistake in the dance battle with the police chief. Those. at all stages of all rounds, after Stubs's performance, the inscription PERFECT should appear on the dance floor. For many, this trophy will be the most difficult in the game. The combinations of stages are random, so there is no point in trying to remember them. Only the first two stages of the first round are always the same.
The main advice for those who have great difficulty repeating combinations is that the game can be paused at any time. To fix the combination in your head and try it out on the gamepad for better memorization. You can also spam a pause during the chef's dance to remember the combination one element at a time.
Also, if there are repeating elements in a combination, then you can simply hold down the desired button while they are being executed, rather than pressing it several times. It is very convenient when the entire combination consists of the same element or ends in two or three identical ones. If the elements are repeated at the beginning or in the middle, I do not recommend using this feature - there is a high chance that you will not have time to remove your finger from the button and ruin the attempt.
Round Tips:
Well, one last piece of advice. If you failed the third round, you don’t need to replay the battle right away; it’s better to practice rounds 4 and 5.

Round Tips:
- 1-3 - stages consist of combinations of four elements. The third round is a little faster and has more stages. These rounds must be brought to automaticity. There shouldn't be any problems here.
- 4 - stages consist of four elements, but the third is always a double tap. It is this round that will cause the most problems and will be a frequent reason for replaying the entire minigame. The main advice is to press the button for the fourth element as quickly as possible after double-clicking the third. So fast that in fact, you have a triple press of 3,3,4. Personally, I memorized the combination, waited for the signal of the first element, and then hit it at a certain speed, without particularly focusing on the visual cues of the game.
- 5 - stages consist of eight elements. But everything is not so scary, because it is the same combination of four elements, repeated twice. A pause helped me here. After displaying the first four elements, I paused, recorded them in my head and figured them out on the gamepad, moving my finger over the buttons.
Well, one last piece of advice. If you failed the third round, you don’t need to replay the battle right away; it’s better to practice rounds 4 and 5.

For myself, I removed the music in the settings, the clicks are so clearly audible when you press the buttons.
If you mess up, click start the level again, and not from the checkpoint. Thus, I got to the same dance in each round, memorized everything and passed. last dance sketch the buttons (using a pause), I drew arrows ->, <-. in the last dance there are 8 presses, not 4 as in previous rounds. you only need to sketch the first 4 buttons,

I switched the controls to the arrows and pressed the arrows, it seemed to me much easier this way the brain adapts. It's been the 10th time since I changed the controls!
