Summer Challenge

Earn 400 training points (Career).

This trophy is for earning a cumulative total of 400 training points in Career Mode. The total is cumulative so feel free to spend them as you earn them.

Training points are earned for placing in the medals in each event, descending in amount from gold to silver then bronze. Before you begin any event or Cup you can see the haul available on screen, it's usually 3/2/1 or 6/4/2 for individual events, 10/5/3 for One on One events and 20/10/5 for Cups.

Once you earn Gold, the most you can win from coming first in that same event/cup is exactly 1/3 of what Gold was worth the first time you beat it, with no return at all for Silver or Bronze. For example: The 100m Sprint is worth 6 TP for Gold, 4 for Silver and 2 for Bronze the very first time you try it. Winning a Gold medal will net you 6 TP, but winning that same single event after will only be worth 2 TP thereafter, there are no prizes for Silver or Bronze. Using that same event example, if you get a Silver on your first try then you will earn 4 TP, but the 6 TP for Gold is still attainable. Though it is a little difficult to judge on most events, it's prudent to aim for Bronze, Silver then Gold on 3 successive attempts to harvest the most TP out of any single event/cup but it is just as efficient going for Gold in everything first time then farming TP for Gold medals on quick and easy events.

Either way you play it, the trophy will unlock once you have earned a grand total of 400 TP.
