How to unlock the World domination achievement in Summer Challenge - Definitive Guide

Set up 20 new world records (Single player, normal).

This trophy is unlocked for beating 20 World Records in Career or Single Discipline Mode on Normal difficulty. Although probably the most daunting by way of the descriptions, it's really anything but.

A few things to note here are that you can tie the current world record and it will count towards the tally but it doesn't have to be 20 unique events, you can repeatedly break the world record in the same event 20 times over which makes the trophy a great deal easier.

If you attempt this in Career Mode then you wont get very far until you are very well trained whereas Single Discipline allows you to jump straight into things. It is recommended to leave this though until you have thoroughly completed Career Mode as it's more than likely you will have got at least half of the records by the time that's over, possibly even all of them if you are supremely good at the game. Those with any remaining have an easy way and a hard way to get the remaining records:

Hard Way:-

Below are the World Records for each event when you begin playing the game:

110 Hurdles: 0:12:87
Shot-put: 23:12m
50m Recurve: 87
100m Sprint: 0:09:58
70m Compound: 87
Diving 10m: 198.90
100m Freestyle: 0:52:07
Hammer Throw: 86.74m
Trampoline: 39.5
High Jump: 2.45m
Discus: 74.08m
200m Sprint: 0:19:19
100m Butterfly: 0:56:06
Triple Jump: 18.29m
Javelin 98.48m
400m Sprint: 0:43:18
Pole Vault: 6.14m
Long Jump 8.95m
1500m Middle Distance 3:26:00

Note that there is no World Record for Fencing.

Simply play whichever event you prefer and continue to keep beating your best score. Try to spread them out as things like running and swimming events are hard to keep on breaking once you've done it once, the same goes for the throwing events which I found too inconsistent to be breaking my own records throw after throw.

The Easy Way:-

Once you have maxed out stats, go to Career Mode and do the High Jump contest event. Set the bar height to 2.45m and complete the jump which with maxed out stats is an absolute breeze. For your next jump set the height to 2.46 and fail on purpose, do this another 2 times to end the event with a record levelling 2.45m jump. This will credit you with a world record. Now just repeat this process for however many times you need to for the remaining 20 and once the last one goes, your trophy will unlock.
