How to unlock the Master Jedi achievement in Super Star Wars - Definitive Guide

This trophy is MISSABLE!

This is the one of the hardest trophies in the game, but with the use of abusing the save feature, this trophy isn't hard at all. In order to unlock this trophy, you're going to have to complete the entire game from start to finish on Jedi difficulty without losing any lives. This means you cannot die at all. Jedi difficulty only has an effect on how much damage enemies can inflict on you. That's the only real difference between difficulty modes. The best thing about this is that you can still use the Character Select Cheat Code and still unlock the trophy (refer to the Roadmap or Han Shot First! trophy). While playing through Jedi difficulty and doing a no death run, you'll end up dying a lot and I mean a lot. If you saved your game correctly or when you did a section perfectly, you'll clear this mode in no time. Just be careful when you save you game because you can overwrite your save file (you have only 1 save file). A Jedi no death difficultly playthrough run will take about 2-5 hours on your time to complete. There are only a few hard parts in the game which are the following sections:

  • Level 8: Cantina Fight - Hardest Boss fight in game
  • Level 9: Escape from Mos Eisley - Lots of claws, bombs, and harmful fragments everywhere
  • Level 10: Death Star Bay - Requires well timed super jumps to avoid TIE Fighters
  • Level 11: Rescue the Princess - The first part of this level is very hard and requires accurate rolls and jumps
  • Level 13: Death Star Attack - Requires you to destroy 20 TIE Fighters and 20 Towers

Below are some general tips:

  • Use the Character Select Cheat Code, gives you the best characters at the start of the game.
  • Use either Han Solo or Chewbecca as they're the best characters. Han is the fastest character while Chewbecca has the most health.
  • Save your game at the start of every level. If you wish to be more safe, backup your starting level save file to Cloud Save or a USB flash drive.
  • Be sure to upgrade your Blaster to highest possible level of the Plasma Wave Blaster as this gun kills fast.
  • Ignore the games "Timer Bonus" as this is just bonus points for the time remaining on the completed level. This has nothing to do with trophies, just affects the game online leaderboards.
  • While playing through levels, if you’re low on health you can sometimes run left then right while killing enemies to get more health restored back from the small health drops (Hearts), then save your game once you restored your health bar.
  • Save your game whenever you're safe from harm’s way.
  • Always save your game before heading through a door, jumping off a cliff, or jumping on a new platform. Also save your game on machines that smash or crush you before rolling underneath them. This includes saving before engaging a boss fight.
  • Try to pick up the Health Sword Power-Ups; these are the Lightsaber items that be dropping from enemies or sometimes they can be found throughout the levels. These items will increase your health bar meter for the current level that you're playing on. Sadly, these upgrades don't carry over to the next levels, but they can make the level you're playing on much easier with much more health to restore from the Hearts.
  • Sometimes after killing an enemy, they'll drop a Plasma Shield (a yellow shield icon). This item is extremely useful as it can temporary make you invulnerable from any incoming damage. Use this item to run, walk, or jump past enemies while it's still active.
  • Another item that drops from enemies is the thermal detonator (a white bomb grenade). Use this item to clear the screen of enemies instantly. If possible, use the thermal detonator against a boss to deal heavy damage. This can be tricky depending if an enemy dropped one or not before engaging a boss and you still had it, which is very unlikely due to the short time period it must be used.
  • For the vehicle sections of the game, kill a few of the enemies needed to get through to the next level, then save your game if you've eliminated enemies without taking any damage. This method makes those vehicle levels much easier. Additionally, holding down the fire button can kill enemies coming at you before you see them on your screen.

For those stuck on Bosses, you can use this Boss FAQ by R.W as the methods are all the same, but some players might get stuck on a boss. For a video demonstrating how to defeat the hardest boss (Kalhar Boss Monster) on Jedi difficulty, please watch the video below and it should be noted that a backup save method using Cloud Save was used just in case of failure.

We are talking about “big” lives (heads). You can take damage, but you can't die completely.
