You can upgrade blaster levels by picking up the blaster shaped icons, you will go up one level. Every time you die, your blaster level resets - Luke goes back to Blaster, Chewie and Han start at Flame.
Thanks to being able to save at any point, getting this is easy - just keep picking up blaster upgrades and if you die, reload your last save.
There are two secrets in the game which make this even easier and quicker to get. These secrets were already in the SNES version and have thankfully been ported. Both secrets are in the Dune Sea level.
First secret: Once the first level starts, keep to the left edge of the screen and start blasting scorpions and mynocks. After a while, a scorpion will drop a blaster upgrade.
Second secret: at some point, womp rats start spawning. When this happens, you should see a boulder in front of you (one whole boulder with a bit boulder to its left) over which the womp rats spawn - they jump from behind the dunes up/over the boulder. Stand in front of the middle of the boulder and start shooting womp rats - shoot up constantly to insta-kill all jumping womp rats, if one happens to jump in between shots, fire to the right, killing him, and start firing up again. After a while, above you in the air will spawn a blaster upgrade and two big hearts.
Directly after the first secret lies the first official blaster upgrade. Using these two secrets means you're already on Rapid Ion level before the Dune Sea level is over... Once in the Outside Sandcrawler level, blaster upgrades will become a random drop from enemies so blast those jawas and you should have your final level before going inside. If you happen to have no luck with random drops, the first guaranteed upgrade is shortly into the Inside Sandcrawler level, right of the first elevator platform.
If you need more: there's another secret that helps in the Inside Sandcrawler level. After the bit with all the rotating spikes on the ground with all the automatic guns that go back and forth, you will need to jump down. Instead of jumping down, take a leap left towards the wall and keep pushing left. You should find yourself in a secret area with two blaster upgrades and two big hearts. Also, an extra life if you shoot up in the air in the top right corner of the room.

This trophy is for upgrading your blaster weapon to the highest level possible. Below are the starting levels from the lowest to highest level:
- Laser Blaster (Luke's starter)
- Flame Blaster (Both Chewbacca and Han's starter)
- Proton Seeker
- Rapid Ion Gun
- Plasma Wave Blaster
You can find upgrades by searching for and picking up the Blaster icon Power-Ups off the ground. Blaster Power-Ups cannot drop randomly from enemies, but can drop from a specific enemy that will always drop the Blaster Power-Up once they're defeated. They can be found by simply finding them throughout levels or searching for secrets. Each Blaster Power-Up you pick up will upgrade your Blaster to the next level, but it'll do nothing if your Blaster is already at the highest level. The best thing about the Power-Ups is that they will carry on to each new level as you progress. If you die, you'll lose all your upgrades and will respawn with your default weapon of your selected character. Abusing the save feature can make obtain this trophy extremely easy.
