How to unlock the Double Feature achievement in Super Street Fighter IV - Definitive Guide

In order to earn this achievement you must select the "Ultra Combo Double" under the ultra combo selection menu after picking a character. This reduces their potency but allows you the use of both ultras. I'd strongly recommend using Poison, Elena, Jugo, Decapre or Rolento in order to net you the ranked win with one of the Ultra characters as well.

If you'd like to do this in one round, Elena is your safest bet. Allow her to take just enough damage for her ultra to become available and then use the double quarter circle forward + 3 punches and it will begin to heal her. If you're attempting this in ranked, pressing the 3 punches again will stop the healing so you can defend if somebody begins to attack. Left Bumper is defaulted to all 3 punches, making this a bit easier. After this, simply take enough damage so you can use another ultra. Do another double quarter circle forward but with all 3 kicks this time to unleash her second.

This can be done with any character, this just knocks out two birds with one stone if you win. Recommend using a match that is 60 seconds in order to make sure you don't lose by time out.

You can also play a two round match and simply use both ultras on each of the rounds if you'd prefer. It's even possible to use two ultras in the same match without the healing, this is just a bit easier to manage.

EDIT: It's been confirmed you don't even need to land the ultras, simply execute them and the achievement will still pop. Credit goes to DarkSephiroth07 for the find.

And if it wasn't clear you can do the ultra and miss it totally and it will still count. You just have to do both of them in a single match, hit or miss.

I'll include that. Wasn't really sure if you could whiff on them or not as mine landed.

Yeah I got it when I tried to use Oni's U2 as an anti air but the enemy managed to get over it and it whiffed. Still got the achievement after the match :)

This trophy is easier than it sounds because you don't actually have to land the combos or win the match for the trophy; simply using both ultra combos in a single match will suffice. You can use one of the new characters and try to win the match so that you'll knock out this and Ultra Effective at the same time. After you select your character and need to pick an ultra combo, make sure you select "Ultra Combo Double" so that you will be able to use both of your ultra combos. If you want to try and combine this with Ultra Effective, I'd recommend Elena as her Healing move doesn't require you to hit your opponent and will be effective otherwise. Then you just have to use her Brave Dance move and the trophy will unlock.

Actually what the trophy says. Both Ultras do not have to hit the enemy. The main thing is to have time to use them in one round. You can do it with a boost, or you can do it yourself against any opponent, because you don’t have to win the match, you just need to complete both Ultras in one round. Simply, as soon as you see that you are 50% full and the semicircle in the lower corner of the screen on your side lights up, perform Ultra immediately, and then again. The main thing is to choose a character for whom you can definitely do both Ultras. I would recommend Ryu. He has the simplest (down-forward-down-forward + L1 (first Ultra) and (second Ultra)), in training mode, learn a little how to perform them and you can go take the trophy.
