How to unlock the EXtra! EXtra! achievement in Super Street Fighter IV - Definitive Guide

An easier way to do this would be to go to Ryu's seventh trial. The trial is to do a crouch hitting combo, ignore that, because the trial will give you infinite Super and Ultra meter power. Also the computer does not move, but has the occasional auto-block. So you can get the 100 EX, Super, Ultra, and Focus attack achievements.

Great solution, just to add I used Ryu's Fireball EX Move for this achievement, left stick to the right 3 quarters clockwise and press LB, connect with 100 fireballs and unlocked (for special move use blue fireball)

For Focus Attack walk towards opponent and hold YB, (he will flash for a moment)

I believe using Dan's Ex Gadouken repeatedly in Trial Mode will net this achievement very quickly as well. Fireball motion + LB should do it. Just spam the move in one of Dan's later Trials against the Dan dummy while in the corner until it pops.

Challenge -> Trial -> Ryu -> Trial Lv 1

EX move: cn_LSdr+cn_LB or cn_downright+cn_LB (Default controller settings)
Just ignore the requirement to complete the trial and keep spamming Ryu's EX move. Each hit on your opponent counts as a successfully landed EX move, but keep in mind that Dan blocks every now and then which doesn't count as a hit. If done right you will see Ryu flash yellow when he performs his EX move.

If you want to grind this trophy as fast as possible go into trials mode, any character you feel you can do a ex move with and choose any trial. The trial mode will give you full ex bar. Then just do your ex move (using the three attack buttons. You might want to map that move to a face button if it's easier), wait the 3 seconds it takes to recharge (and for dan to reset otherwise he'll block the attack, and I'm unsure if that will count) and do your ultra move again.

EX moves are stronger versions of Special Moves as described under “Special Movement” however they take up an EX meter whenever you use them, they are much stronger and faster and are great for combos. To use an EX move you must hit all the P or K buttons depending on the EX Special you are using. To build up EX meter you must perform special moves, deal damage to your opponent, block or take damage from your opponent, it fills up pretty fast in a real battle. This trophy is accumulative from the times you use it in Arcade, Versus and Online Mode.

Example of a EX move: EX Hadoken (+ , which is a shorter for all the punches)

To perform an Ex-reception, you need at least a quarter full of the supermeter strip.
The EX move is done in the same way as a regular special move, but instead of one hit button, two are pressed. For example, if a special move is performed through a punch, you need to do it by pressing any two punch buttons. Same with the legs. The game adds up all EX from arcade, version and online.

Can be obtained in Challenge Mode. There you have an infinite EX scale.
