ok just like fighting oni there is requirements to get evil ryu to show after beating seth. here is what i did and it worked 100%.

use zangief with 1 round, 99 seconds, hardest difficulty. spam lariats 3 punches together or the button that hits all 3 punches for you. to get evil ryu to show all you need is to not continue and get 1 perfect, and finish SETH with a super or ultra finish. now the easiest perfect for zangief i think is abel he is zangiefs rival. just spam a few lariats and when abels ultra is full just be aware he might do it right away so be ready to jump back then continue spamming lariats. as i mention below about perfects if your about to lose then just join in a second controller then beat them then continue going through arcade mode it wont count as a continue this way.

if for some reason you dont get a perfect on abel just join in a second controller then beat them up and refight abel or any character you feel you can perfect using zangief. evil ryu is a bit tougher than oni so just take it easy and dont spam lariats just wait to counter him or do wake up pile drivers or a wake up ultra when he knocks you down and walks up close to you. it took me 3 tries to get him with zangief but its doable. any questions message me on XBL.

I found a lot of controversy about this achievement as well as with the ‘Birth of Oni’ and ‘Long time no see’ achievements. Here’s how to fight against Evil Ryu:

- Never lose a round
- 10 First Hits (for 3 rounds match)
- 5 First Hits (for 1 round match)
- LESS than 5 Super/Ultra finishes (for 3 rounds match)
- LESS than 3 Super/Ultra finishes (for 1 round match)
- AT LEAST 2 Perfects (for 3 rounds match)
- AT LEAST 1 Perfect (for 1 round match)
- Finish Seth on the last round with an Ultra (not sure if Super works too)

To get the achievement you have to fight him and win on the hardest difficulty.

*If you make MORE Ultra/Super finishes Oni will show up instead.
*If you don’t finish Seth with an Ultra Akuma will show up instead.
*You CAN use a second controller to save you from a fault by pressing start on the second controller. The ‘Here comes a new challenger’ screen will show up, just beat player 2 and continue from where you left.

Guide :

I understand why everyone said zangief but trust me Rolento is wayyy too easier if you use this guide

- So first of all set your control layout to B in settings

- Set the Arcade mode to 1 round 99 seconds , Hardest and pick rolento
(Optional) : If you have another controller turn it on and keep it close to you

- So you should know that the Ai for hardest scale after every game and some characters are generally Hader then other characters ( Fei Long, chun li , Ryu , Zangief , Cody . Have Really hard Ai that made me reset so many runs )

- for the first game unless you're against anybody who's up there it's your only chance to get perfect Using LP+MP+HP ( ) Spam
There's a 90% you'll get your perfect , first hit During this Game , if you get hit Just press Start on your second controller and the New Challenger screen will appear you'll play against P2 and reset the Match you had against the Cpu so you would have another chance on the perfect ( pick Seth with your other controller Because he have the lowest health in the game )

- for the next few games You wanna make sure you always get first Hit Using Only LP+MP+HP ( ) except for Sagat bc he'lluse low fireball I suggestyou jump hk then go back to your spam , once you get the cpu to low health let them hit You until you get your ultra so you can use it for the Ultra finish ( Ultra one is reliable and easy if you miss Just press Start on P2 Controller and repeat

- OK , so after few games if you're unlucky like me you might get a good AI or character that won't fall for your Spam what I did is spam something else just as Broken
So u start the round Blocking Low and wait for the Ai to Make a mistake ( Attack you ) So u cam punish with cr.Hk to get the knock down
And right after that I want you to stand Lvl 3 (fully charged) Focus attack + and before he fall use cr.Hk and Charge Focus attack again until he's low
Let hit hit you to get ultra and use it

- if you do this you can easily get to Seth with all your requirements already met
Seth is hard he reads input every few seconds so you wanna mix it up always start with low block let him do one of this 2
1- CR.HP ( LONG ARM ATTACK ) he'll throw a sonic boom right after I want you to jump on him when he does that and block again
2- Full screen jump overhead so u gotta react to it by standing Back then cr . Block again

So after this attacks he'll most likely use hit gravity grasp or when he does he'll either use his normals , command throw , or any other move that is punishable
Once he does and of those punishable move you want to use cr.Hk Focus attack
Then mix it up by spamming LP+MP+HP ( ) this will most likely destroy him bc he'll start using Focus attack and this attack break it if you're lucky you'll kill him just spamming this if not u can repeat the first steps and it'll resest his inputs reads

- now for Evil ryu The way I won against him is by the Cr.Hk Focus attack Loop
