How to unlock the Legend achievement in Supremacy MMA - Definitive Guide

Notice - This guide is specifically for 2 of the challenges.

IMO the hardest two are the "block 5 counters in a match" challenges, 1 is for the Russian wrestler & the other the Brazillian Ju-jitsu guy.

Specifically the two challenges called:

Some people just don't learn
Not so fast!

These were the 2 that were doing my head in as I didn't know exactly what you were supposed to do.

What you should do is find a boosting buddy & the person going for the challenge be either of the characters mentioned above & have the other guy be one of the boxers.

Now remember the combo - X-B-A-B

Have the guy wanting the challenge hit X to punch then the boxer hit's B followed by A, the punch guy then hits B. If all went correctly the punch should have been swatted away then followed by a punch that gets ducked/dodged, that is 1, now do it 4 more times in the match.

Follow the instructions on screen as it will tell you what you should hit under your health bar, take into consideration lag & that sometimes you will hit the correct timing but it won't count or even the button indicator not even appearing as this game is buggy as hell.

Pro tip - Do over 50 of the challenges online in ranked matches w/ a boosting buddy as some of those percentage based challenges are nearly impossible against the A.I even on easy. Also do story mode before you attempt specific challenges as you'll pick up around 20 without even trying.

Last thing - Don't attempt this via 2 controllers locally, challenges won't unlock & I don't think player matches work either.

Props to - l 2Bad2Fast l Innit bad man, ya get me?

This is very helpful, especially using the boxer as the opposing fighter. The boxer's counter is pretty slow and easy to telegraph.

Lag makes this way harder than it should be, but the solution is solid (for these two challenges).

With malaipet (muay thai) you don't have to limit yourself to only clinch shots. I used regular strikes to get well above 70% hit percentage, then I went in for the clinch with clinch string combos against the AI and got it.

I think it's worth mentioning that in order to even complete the 10th challenge for each fighter, the other 9 challenges need to be completed FIRST. I tried doing the final MMA challenge with a boosting partner 20+ times before I figured out that the other challenges need to be done before you can finish the Mastery challenge.
This is not true, I was able to unlock Malaipet's 'Art of Eight Limbs' mastery challenge without completing any of the rest.

I can't get MMA to unlock after meeting the above requirements 15+ times. My boost partner got it on the second try. No idea what's going on here but it's incredibly frustrating.

For these trophies you will be playing as all of the different fighters and completing their challenges. There are 12 fighters here, each has 10 challenges to complete. However, there are 2 martial arts disciplines that have 2 fighters in them i.e. Boxing and Kickboxing. You can only complete these challenges once, meaning that there are 100 challenges to be completed so you have to complete them all for the trophies.

Some of them are extremely hard to complete so either persevere or find a boosting partner in the link given: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!)
