Surviving the Aftermath

As you play you'll upgrade and replace buildings. When it comes to housing unlocking better housing will make colonists happy and will make more colonists. Houses and Two-Story Houses can be found towards the end of the community tech tree and are costly to build. Houses require 110 wood, 75 metal and 85 concrete whilst Two-Story requires 130 wood, 90 metal and 100 concrete. Building just Two-Story housing makes the most sense as it holds double the amount of colonists.

Getting more colonists is a waiting game and can be moved along quicker by making outposts for survivors on the world map. Check these outposts every so often and select them to send colonists to your colony.
