You can easily do that by having a shield with the Mirror attribute. If you can't find a mirror with this, you can use the Forge to add this to a shield with an empty slot (any item can have up to 4 attributes). You can find the Forge by the right side of the Altar, below the stairs.
The Mirror attribute requires:
12 Essence of Defense
10 Shard of Heart
8 Ore of Ice
You can find craftable materials by breaking vases and crates on the dungeon floors or by disposing of items on the inventory (the chest above the Forge).
Equip your mirror on an active slot (
, 
,

) and use it by pressing and holding the assigned button. I recommend deflecting the magic of Scholoaks or Kaogyps, or even later bosses. Don't try this against Pobawas as they use magic on the floor, not as a projectile.
