Following the introduction/tutorial level where you are taught the simple mechanics of the game, you will end up in the town. You will experience dialogue that the game automatically puts you in. Skip through and when finished head to the left to find the white bearded man with blue clothing.
Here you will have the option of choosing levels and saving the game
Simply select the "Explosive" level and you will teleport to the beginning of the level.
Continue right through the first area platforming and killing as required.
Similar thing through the second instead you will encounter lights which if you get caught in will spawn enemies that will hunt you and shoot you. Charging your star spell is an easy counter, so don't be too concerned. Once you kill the enemies that spawn, the light turns off and no longer spins. Near the end of the level you will encounter a large jump to the end, however, be sure to grab the bomb spell before making the final jump for segment 2!
Segment 3 can be a little more challenging. Make sure you keep at pace with the moving platform otherwise you will risk falling behind and having to die to respawn at the beginning of that segment. It consists of some killing of enemies, and simple platforming.
Segment 4 you will meet a mini boss that shoots lasers. Your objective is to kill him by damaging his helmet. He is an easy kill. I played on his right, where i found I could stand in front of his right leg and charging my star spell to damage. He just about never hit me using this technique. You will have to jump around to dodge the laser beam attack though, so keep that in mind.
Segment 5 consists of more platforming and wall jumps with tons of enemies. The aim is to get to the bottom right of the map, just be careful of enemies respawning!
Segment 6 is a lot more platforming on conveyer belts. Its relatively easy, potentially the easiest part of this entire level. Just avoid and kill enemies and traps. Then prepare for the boss fight.
The next room is your boss fight. I used the star spell again and just hugged the upper left wall for the entire fight. Charging and shooting in between her abilities and movements. You are practically invincible on that wall as none of her abilities hit if you're positioned in the proper area.
