How to unlock the Loot Lord achievement in Tales of Xillia - Definitive Guide

Loot can be identified as the items that are in the small bags spread throughout the maps and dungeons. They are also shiny objects that you see along some walls and in some trees. When you pick up loot, it will be a white bag if it's a bag and a blue bag if it's a shiny object. There are multiple spawns in each area for loot and this trophy only counts each spot once. This means if you picked the same bag up 1,000 times, the trophy would still not unlock. It helps to run through each field and dungeon multiple times keeping an eye out for new loot spawns in order to reach the 800 necessary for this trophy. Milla has access to a couple areas unique to herself, therefore it's slightly easier to get this during her playthrough. It's worth noting that you CANNOT carry this progress over to a New Game+, so plan on doing it in one playthrough.

Progress on this trophy does NOT carry over to a NG+.

Random treasures are represented by a sparkle or bag on the field, and a blue or white bag icon on the map. Unlike treasure chests, these treasures respawn in random locations whenever you enter a new area, so be sure to check areas you’ve visited before as you may find new random treasures (credit to Ryukori for this image).

In order to get this trophy, you’ll need to uncover 800 blue/white bag icons on the map. This means that getting a treasure at a spot where you’ve already obtained one before will NOT count towards the trophy. As there are well over 800 possible random treasure locations, this shouldn’t be too hard to obtain if you search each new area you come across, and look for any new spawn points on future revisits.

You need to find 800 places where treasures are located (bags or flickering dots). If at the end of the game there are not enough finds, then we run through the bonus dungeon in Fezbel Marsh, which opens after killing 6 Devil's beasts.
