How to unlock the Skilled Binder achievement in Tales of Xillia - Definitive Guide

When linked with Milla, she'll occasionally ensnare your foes in what looks like an energy circle. They'll be temporarily unable to move thus giving you an opening to attack them. It's tough to force her to do this, so you'll simply have to spend plenty of time linked with Milla in hopes she uses her assist. Thankfully the AI seizes every chance it can to use the skill in order to give the player an opening.

Progress on this trophy carries over to a NG+.

Bind is Milla’s Link Partner skill, and she’ll randomly use it when she and her Link Partner surround an enemy. She’ll need to use it 150 times for the trophy. Milla is more likely to use Bind on stunned enemies and Speed-type enemies such as wolves, hawks, and bats, so link with Milla when these enemy types are present. You’ll want to make sure both of you are on opposite sides of the enemy, then start attacking it with and eventually Milla will use Bind.

Torbalan Highroad and Nala Lava Tubes have plenty of Speed-type enemies, so consider linking with Milla when visiting these areas. If you’re grinding this out during end game having Minimum Damage equipped to the character you’re controlling and Milla will help efficiently grind out your numbers.

We take Elize into the group and set her the “Only heal” strategy, everyone else set the “Protect yourself” strategy and the Minimum damage skill (including your character). We go to the Aladhi Trail area and look for wolves. We link with Milla and hit one wolf with our character until she uses Blind 150 times.
