How to unlock the Yeoman Healer achievement in Tales of Xillia - Definitive Guide

Okay, so if you are anything like me, you were no where near getting this trophy. Heck, you probably didn't even touch Jude's link skill at all because a) you played as Jude or b) you linked mainly with every other character /but/ him. So now you're at the end of the game and stuck or on NG+ and having a hard time getting this trophy.

Well, I found this lovely video by Kuway that will indeed solve /all/ of your problems!

Kuway basically addresses how to get the trophy at the 70+ level range. (He had lvl 99 characters, but I did with lvl 70 characters so you might be able to do it with lvl 65+ characters; but don't quote me on that.) Basically he says to go to the Tatalian Abyss and look for the Blade Beak. And while that's all and good, you can do the same thing with the Lizardman.

I suggest doing it with the Lizardman instead because the Lizardman knocks you down significantly more thank Blade Beak does. (I tested.) But there are some things to watch out for it you do decide to use the Lizardman instead of the Blade Beak. Lizardman can do one hit kills. So be prepared with as many Life Bottles as you can hold or always make sure Elize is able to heal.

Another thing I did to speed things up was run towards the enemies. It's a bit hard to explain, but when enemies would attack me, I just kept running into them. You know, like how sometimes you mess up and end up walking into walls if you don't play attention while playing. So I basically bum rushed them and I guess since I wasn't able to guard, it was much easier to the Lizardman to make me fall. Because if you do just stand there, you will guard against attacks whether you intend to you not (especially if you have a high defense stat).

So good luck to all of you who use this guide. Hope this helped.

Thanks for the help, man. This was the last trophy I had to get, I was at level 99, and I was short 13 Recovers. I tried just about every Power opponent in the game, and the only one that could knock me down SOMETIMES was in the Xian Du Colleseum.

Jude activates his restore skill once the ally his is linked with is knocked down. He will do a flash step towards them and kneel down, helping them up and recovering a bit of their health. Simply use chance encounters with enemies that can knock you on your back such as the Treant class enemies and let Jude keep picking you up. Make sure your defense isn't too high as well, sometimes the enemies can't break it and knock you down if you are in an area where the foes are weaker.

Progress on this trophy carries over to a NG+.

Use Jude’s Restore skill 150 times for this trophy.

Restore is Jude’s Link Partner Skill. When you’re knocked down while linked with Jude, he will teleport to you and use Restore to get you back up. Most bosses have a tendency to knock you down so if you have Jude as your Link Partner during those fights you can get these easily.

Power type enemies such as treants, stallions, scorpions, and boars also frequently knock you down, so link with Jude when fighting these enemy types.

The Golden Mage Knight bonus boss also has a tendency to knock you down a lot. As the fight can last a while, linking with Jude during this battle should get you plenty of Restore uses.

If you still need this after wrapping everything else up, equip the Minimum Damage skill on everyone then head to Magnus Zero and fight one of the aforementioned enemy types while linked with Jude, and you should be able to get 150 Restores over time.

We take Elize into the group and set her the “Only heal” strategy, everyone else set the “Protect yourself” strategy and the Minimum damage skill (including your character). We go to Xailen Woods and look for Golems, link with Jude and wait until the Gollems knock you to the ground and Jude lifts you up.

If your character is constantly blocking attacks and not being knocked down, switch his controls from Semi-auto to Manual.

At high levels of pumping, the golems in Xailen Woods cannot even penetrate you, let alone drop you.
Therefore, I recommend Magnus Zero or Tatalian Abyss. In Magnus Zero you will get killed even with the most powerful equipment.
