If you're confused by what this achievement's description means, look at your partner when he's defeated and many times he/she would have an A floating above. Hold down A button next to your downed partner and he/she would get up.

Don't be surprised if you don't see the A though.

Update: The revive is actually tied to a health pack that the player would have on hand each level. There's only one available unless you somehow get another along the way.

Just keep fighting through the campaign and be mindful of your partner and you should get this soon enough.

What i found to work is when you reach the boss at the end of the level let your partner do most of the work so he/she gets downed then defeat the boss when Stage Cleared appears on your screen you can just hold A to revive them again.

the health pack is represented by a little white suitcase with a green cross on it next to your character's health bars.

you get one per level.

If your partner is defeated, stand over them and hold

to revive them. just progress through scenario mode as you would normally and you should get this, i got it rather quickly since my AI was stupid and kept dying every mission.

This can be earned as soon as you properly start Scenario Campaign (i.e, after the Tutorial stage), but may also be earned naturally later in the harder stages of the mode. Let opponents (particularly strong ones, as Alisa may defeat regular opponents too quickly) beat Alisa until she runs out of health, and is downed. You must then run over and press

to revive her. You can only do this once per level, as you can only carry one health pack per stage.

Once your partner reaches 0 you can attempt to pick them up by tapping the X button while standing beside them. You are given one medical kit at the start of each mission to do this, therefore you can only do one per mission. The AI often forgets to pick up health items and things of this nature, making it easy to do especially early in the game when they have poor gear. If you've defeated the boss and your AI is downed, it still counts if you revive them in the few moments they give you to pick up your loot and this saves you the hassle of worrying about enemies interrupting you.

When your partner Alisa (or if you decide to switch with your main character and play as Alisa yourself) is downed, go over they're body and hold A Button . This should happen frequently so don't worry too much about it. You can only pick up your partner once per level.
