How to unlock the All is vanity. achievement in TEKKEN 8 - Definitive Guide

At the main menu, go to the Online tab and select Tekken Fight Lounge. Select one of the available options, for me it was the top one, Recommended (Europe). From there, go up to another person's avatar and press A. There should be an option for Ghost Match. Select this and win the fight. The achievement should pop after the match is over.

Playing online - Tekken Living Room - look for an online player like you, approach him and choose a game with a ghost

This trophy is online. If you do not have a plus subscription, then there is no way to get it.
