This achievement will come automatically over time without doing anything special for it. After taking damage a part of your health segment is sometimes silver, this segment of health will recover when you attack the opponent. You regain a little bit of health naturally just by playing the game. This achievement will come completely automatically over time, don’t worry about this. Just suffer some damage, attack the opponent, repeat. You don’t need to heal 500 damage in one match, it counts across all matches. You will get this after probably 50-100 matches (you need to do way more matches for other trophies so this is pretty much guaranteed to unlock along the way).

This is counts across Arcade Quest / Super Ghost Battle / Character Episodes / Story. It doesn’t count in Offline VS / Practice / Replay.

Recoverable health is the gray segment of your health bar that can be recovered through attacking your opponent and landing hits for the most part. Chapter 6 has a sequence where pressing B while in the air and playing as a specific character instantly heals the red segment of health within your health bar, however as the Achievements aren't visually unlocking on my Xbox for this game currently I am not sure if this kind of recovery counts.
