If you don't want to watch a video (or can't) I thought I would write this down.

In the main menu go to Tekken tunes, press cn_A on the first option, scroll down to any other song then press cn_A again. When done exit to main menu and the achievement will unlock.

To earn this achievement that's called "Dance to Your Own Beat", you must change the background music of a stage using the Tekken Tunes mode.

First off, to get this achievement, you'll need to rip a song or two from any of your favorite band's album. Pick your album of choice, then enter it into your 360 and play it. It will have an option for you called "Rip CD". Choose that option, then make sure to uncheck all but the one song you want ripped onto your XBox 360. Once that's completed, take out that CD and put in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and load the game up.

Once the game brings you to the main menu, go ahead and select Tekken Tunes. Next, you'll need to choose the stage that you wish to change the background music to. In my case, it was the Condor Canyon stage in Colombia, which has an eagle soaring in the blue sky. Once that's done, hit either LB once or RB twice to get to your original music library, which should show the album title. Select that option, then select the track, If you take a look again at the stage you included the song in, it should say "ORIGINAL MUSIC LIBRARY", which means you can now listen to that song when you are on that stage. Finally, the last step in this whole process is to exit out of Tekken Tunes completely. Once you do that and go back to the main menu, the achievement unlocks.

Have fun and good luck!

I got it without ripping any songs. Just change the music to any of the other Tekken library songs and then exit and it should unlock.

If the admins saw it that way too, they would have taken it down. But they haven't. So good luck trying to get it down for your benefit. It stays.

I'm not asking you to defend yourself, nor do i gain by saying this is pointless.

The whole ripping CD's aspect of this guide, none of this is required. Maybe this was valuable for a small space of time when this game had some form of glitch, but if it didn't then this is not the cleanest or simplest way to earn a very simple achievement.

Don't bother removing it, if someone finds this useful then so be it.

In the Tekken Tunes menu, select any stage, and choose a different song (either from the TTT2 soundtrack, DLC or the files on your PS3 HDD) to set as a replacement.

Select Tekken Tunes from the main menu and you will be greeted by pictures of stages and other things. Press on whatever you want and just scroll down to whatever you want to change that piece of music to as long as it is not the default. Press  again to change the music and then back out of Tekken Tunes. The achievement will pop once you are on the main menu. Change the music back to default if you want.

It is not necessary to copy music from a CD, just change the track in any mode to a track from the existing standard set.

Music can be copied from a CD to the Xbox, only then can it be played in the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 game.

After copying music from a CD to a flash drive or X360 hard drive, give “your” album a name.

Then, in the game, select TEKKENTUNES from the main menu. In this application, first simply press the A button so that the song selection window appears on the right, then press the LB button to find the folder ("your" album) with music compositions. Select any “your” musical composition and play it by pressing the Y button. After that, simply press the B button to exit to the main menu and the achievement will open.
