How to unlock the Flying Butt-Kicker achievement in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Definitive Guide

The easiest way I found to do this was by using Paul, who has a 10 hit combo that strangely only consists of 5 hits.

To do this 10 hit combo press X, Y, A, X, Y. Do this 3 times and the achievement will unlock.

I struggled with this until I decided to try spamming it. If anyone else has trouble, try using x,y,a,x,y,a,x,y instead

Yeah just keep quickly spamming X, Y, A, X, Y with Paul. I got it in about 20 seconds smile. Great find +1

I don't get it. I watched the animation like Sqall545 mentioned, but I still can't get it to work. the second time I hit X he does the normal punch instead of the fist pound. I'm trying this in practice mode, and I can never get a combo chain. Not even a 3 hit combo from the first 3 hits. Also, the bot keeps sliding way from me when I punch him, so I have to push him against the wall so I can get all the hits in.

Get your opponent up against a wall and just continue to spam X, Y, A. Achievement will unlock very quickly.

It’s okay when you can’t press next button after first quickly? Tried it 30 minutes. There a superfast speed of buttons in showing in menu and Y after X is pressable after near second. Don’t think it’s XOne’s trouble...

Good solution. It felt like it wasn't working, the combo counter in practice mode wouldn't go any higher than two it seemed. But spamming X Y A in that order worked for me after about thirty seconds

by far the easiest way, i'm shocking at this game so couldn't even do the "easy" yoshimitsu combo's but could do this.

to add if u don't know what the move looks like, which i didn't. I spent 20min hit x,y,a,x,y, try timed and just couldn't get it then seen the move and yerrrr go it after a few more tried but go to practice mode and in the menu go to CPU setting 1, click on command list, found the 10 hit combo and it shows u, so u make sure u doing it right, but don't forget to switch it off when u go to try it :) hope this helps.

You pulled off 3 10 hit combos.

This achievement can be unlocked in any game mode.

Almost every character in the game has a 10 hit combo you can look up in the move list. Most of them are easy, some require specific timing. I found one of Baek's combos to be really easy. (I'm not saying it's the easiest in the game since i really didn't take the time to go trough every characters move list.)

On Typ A Button Layout (the default setting):

B > A > A > B > A > A > A > B > A > A

(B) LK - Left Kick
(A) RK - Right Kick

Do this three times and the achievement is yours.

Another easy 10-Hit Combo for Yoshimitsu got posted by Dragoner28 in the comments:

X > Y > X > B > B > B > X > X > X

Yoshimitsu has the most easy 10hit combo in the game.
X,Y,X,B,B,B,X,X,X
should be no problem for everyone because it´s extremly simple to memorize

I dont think thats true. I got the achievement while going through the Stage 5 Boss Fights in the Fight Lab with Combot/Combot used this simple combo:

Forward Y > Back X / TAG > X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X

Its a simple jab juggle. And got the achievement.

Hello, I wanted to say for stage 5: must not hold the TAG, as soon as teammate happens, release the TAG button and spam X ;)

and 10hit combo Yoshimitsu is X, Y, X, B, B, B, X, X, X, X

How the hell do you pull off combos? do you mash the buttons as fast as you can, do you hit the next as soon as the last punch lands? I've tried all manner of timing, but every time I do it they all the punches seem to come off as single hits. If I try the buttons as fast as possible, most of the commands don't even register. I've tried this both in practice and in vs battle with the same results.

I think it has to be a 10 Hit Combo that is in a character's Command List, as I created my own with Yoshimitsu that I did about 10 times that didn't work, then I switched to the combo listed by Dragoner28 and did it 3 times and it popped. It is worth noting that it is XYX B B B X X X X, as he forgot the last command to make 10.

Works on any game mode.

For me, I just used Baek's "10 hit combo 2" (command list no.83 of 102)

Done in the practice mode because there is no time limit and used the Heavenly Garden stage because don't have walls.
Took me five minutes.
When you done the 10 hit combo without missing, before the last hit done a red globe with a "!" mark will appear.

Do 3 times on total and that's it.

Select any character in practice mode, and look for their 10-hit combo/s in their command list. Choose any one, and then do it three times. If you're having difficult with the timing, use the "Play Demo" feature in the command list, you can see and hear the input timing at the top of the screen.

And fortunately, two characters have 10-hit combos that are only six hits, but still trigger the trophy! These are the easiest options.

Example:
Paul: ,,,, (1,2,3,1,2)
Yoshimitsu: ,,,, (4,4,2,2,1)

The easiest person I found to do this with is Yoshimitsu. His command 153 (,,,,,,, ,,) is very easy to remember and if you go into training and watch it first it's really easy to do once you have the timing of the button presses down. People also like to use his command 150 (,,,,,,, ,,) to get this done. Yet another is Baek's command 83 (,,,,,,, ,,). 

NOTE: This can be done in Practice Mode.
