Test Drive Unlimited 2

There are 74 purchaseable cars overall, which will cost a lot of money to buy - more than playing through all of the single player events will reward you with. By the time you have completed everything you will most likely need more than $10 million more to buy all of the remaining cars, but fortunately there are two exploits than can be used to make purchasing everything a breeze. The first of these involves Hawaii Cup 1, but can only be taken advantage of when you are playing it for the first time. If you have already completed this cup then you'll have to use the Community Racing Centre glitch. These glitches were discovered not long after release and are not credited to me at all.

1) Hawaii Cup 1 - upon reaching this cup save your game and quit to the XMB. Then delete your Game Data (not Save Data) for TDU2 and load the game back up without installing any of the patches. Enter the cup and playthrough the first seven events. Once you reach the final event and have won it, replay the event and make sure you finish second or lower. By doing this you will receive $2.5m every time. Keep replaying the event until you have earned enough cash ($30m earned via this method will be more than enough for the platinum), and then save your game. You can then reinstall the patches and continue with the game. The glitch will only work the first time you play this cup, so once you exit it will be unavailable.

2) Community Racing Centre - this glitch still works with the current patch. First of all back-up your save file and then create a new club. Next head to the challenge editor and create 3 short time attack challenges, with a reward of $1 million, and upload them to the community racing centre for 1 day. Make sure they can only be completed by club members by setting the challenges to club only, as this way no one can ruin the exploit for you. Complete each of your challenges so you have the highest score and then quit to the XMB and overwrite your current save with the one you backed up at the start. This way you will get back the $3 million you spent uploading the challenges, plus another $3 million once they are completed, as you will win by default.

Once you have enough money it's a simple matter of going through all of the showrooms and buying each car. Below is a list of all the cars you will need to purchase for this trophy, with the locations based on car showrooms on Hawaii. Once you reach Collection level 12 you will receive a 10% discount on all car purchases, so I have based all listed prices on this.
