How to unlock the King of Ibiza achievement in Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unlocked on the island you start on, You must complete all Challenges in the C4, B4, A6 and A7 categories. After these are complete a cup will unlock in the centre of the island. This is the Ibiza Cup.

Below is a guide to the cars i used in each section, this is my opinion of which cars are best for each category..

C4 - When you get the choice for the 1st car i would pick the Lancia Delta integrale evoluzione, its by far the best starting car.

B4 - The Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI - keep an eye out for this in the "Used Car Dealer" where you buy your 1st car. If its not there then "European Cars (north)" is the place to pick it up.

A7 - I used the Alfa Romeo Brera Italia Independent, This is also available at the "Used Car Dealer" place but if its not there its available at "Italian Cars"

A6 - The Audi S3 was my pick for this, not as fast as the TT coupe but handles alot better which helps when you come to the Ibiza Cup. Is found at "Used Car Dealer" or at the Audi dealer.

There are 8 challenges, only 1 is unlocked at the start, you have to come 1st in each event. This will unlock the next event .
All events are easy but the "speed" event which you use your A6 car for is a bit tricky, The easiest way i found was to accelerate down the 1st straight until tou reach the corner then pull a 180 with the handbrake and drive back towards the starting line, this guarenteed me 1100 points which was enough for 1st place.
The Ibiza Cup ends in a race around the whole of the island in which you have 54mins to do it in.... enjoy!

Personally I liked the Subura Impreza for the final 74 mile race. Very good rally car. Probably one of my favorite A6 cars in general.

I used the Subaru Impreza as well and finished the Island tour in under 48 minutes. This was with multiple crashes and off-road excursions. I probably could have done it in under 45 minutes

The TT can make up the difference in the first half of the race with all the really long straight sections - I just finished the race in about 46 minutes or so.

I hate to sound like a complete tool here, but I just started this game. I beat the C4 and B4 championships. Now I'm basically stuck driving around for hours and hours. There are no events open or anything, just online challenges and all that garbage. Clearly I'm missing something. Any help?

There is a racing school on the map and some challenges but they all say Road Locked. Even if I manually drive there the event is locked. Maybe I need to gain some kind of experience points or something, I have no idea. No one calls and tells me where to go on the phone or anything.

I can't pass the 4th event, the Time Trial: Cala Salada. tried both the Suped up Tourag I won from one of the contestants, and the Range Rover everyone suggested. Closest I ever came was 3 seconds over the limit.

nevermind, i finally passed it after 3495803458043 tries with the Range Rover. adjusted the way I was using the handbrake, and wasn't as cautious as i usually am going into the 3rd to last straight away, and I beat it with 2 seconds to spare

Fothe speed event instead of doing a 180, Turn left at the intersection and you will go straight for the rest of the time. I got over 1800 points.

After numerous attempts with the Touareg I beat it with the Range Rover (level 3) with a few seconds to spare. It still took several attempts. I'd also take my level 4 Subaru over the S3 in a heartbeat. For the speed event I made a right and then another right and easily scored 1400 points for the win. I'll have to check that left turn method Budda.

The 5th race in the Ibiza cup.... that's the 1800 point race, I thought you meant a different one at first. :-)

In this cup, in each race you need to come only in first place, so choose your car wisely, and at the last race, be patient, because... it runs through the whole of Ibiza, for about 100 km
