as mentioned in the other solutions, the tricky point with this one is buying either of the two yachts.
houses are worth the garage space they provide.
so buying and keeping either one of the yachts is a major waste of ingame money and if you dont have unlimited funds (i.e. casino or that hawaii 1 cup race glitch), you will want to not buy it.

do it like this:
once youre done with the SP races (championships and cups), you should be at around 9-10 million, depending on your previous expenses.

you'll need about 7m to buy the cheapest of each house (yacht in ibiza costs 5m, 4* house costs about 1.2m, 3* is roughly 500k, 2* half of that, 1* again half of that. 0* is free).

now, if you have an USB stick ready, just copy your savegame to it, load from there, buy the necessary houses (usually 4 and 5 stars), cash in on the achievement and then exit and load the other savegame, going on from there as usual.
voila.

You must own at one time one home of each star rating (0-5). You start with a 0 right away and the other 5(1-5) you must purchase.

The good thing is that you can buy the homes and then sell them all back if you'd rather use your money for lower price to car slot homes which is what I did to keep more money available. The downside to doing this is in the yachts (the only 5 star homes). I purchased the $5m yacht in Ibiza and only $4m will be returned to you. The other homes were not a very large loss and usually just a few thousand dollars.

Paying a million in game isn't a big deal for an achievement though as by the time you have the money to purchase all of the homes at once, you'll be sitting on a good amount of money anyway.

One other thing of note... Look at your Collection>Houses and furniture numbers and hit the "Own 15 houses" objective to give some extra points for your level.

Houses in TDU2 are rated by one of 6 levels, which are represented by stars, starting from a caravan at 0 stars, all the way up to a yacht at 5 stars. A caravan will be gifted to you at the start of the game, but you'll have to buy a property from every other level to obtain the trophy. Using either money glitch under God of Cars will leave you with more than enough money to buy a house from each level. If you need to check which levels you still need to buy a property from, head to any Real estate agent under 'Spot for Avatar' on the map, and look on the list of properties you own, which is either under 'exchange' or 'sell'.

This description is a little vague and may cause some confusion. You are required to at least 1 house with each star rating. The houses in the game are given upto a 5-star rating and you'll be required to purchase a house with a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and a 5-star rating.

As you will have the Caravan from the start of the game, you have 1 0-star rated house.
To buy a house, you can either find it in free-roam or visit your local Estate Agency in the "Spots for Avatar" tab in your Map ( Back ).

Here is a list of the cheapest available houses in each star rating;
0-Star: Caravan (Should have this house from the start of the game)
1-Star: Fontanelles house - $95,000 - Ibiza Area 1
2-Star: Refuge house - $198,000 - Ibiza Area 2
3-Star: Tropical House - $311,000 - Hawaii Area 3
4-Star: Kahuku Point Paradise - $1,110,000 - Hawaii Area 2
5-Star: Yacht - $5,000,000 - Ibiza Area 1 **

** There is a way to save money if you want to keep your cash from buying the Yacht.
Make a copy of your save game BEFORE you buy the houses onto another Storage Device. Then load up your game on your COPY device, buy all of the above houses for the achievement, then refer to your MAIN save, to have the money from before.
