How to unlock the Gabril achievement in The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Definitive Guide

This achievement is completed during the Dark Athena campaign.
After the fight against your first Alpha Drone, you will soon come across another. First, take go ahead and defeat this second drone. After doing that, do not leave this area.
Instead, head inside the small building and use the video communication uplink. The door you need to use is across the small bridge opposite the doorway into the building with the Nanomed machine. This will grant you contact with Gabril. He will then ask you to destroy 5 com jammers. These jammers look like a small satellite dish mounted above a larger one and are of an off white color. To destroy them, use the SCAR gun.
Note that this will require some backtracking, but don't think you won't have to deal with enemies, any you may have missed earlier will still be there. Also, don't bother trying to look for them without talking with Gabril first, they won't be there.
1.) Exit the building via the same door you entered. A little to the right you'll see a building with a sign saying NEW VENICE NORTH on the side. On top of this building the jammer should be easily seen.
2.) Head back across the small bridge and look back towards the building you were just in. On the cliffs above the house you should see the next one.
3.) Backtrack to the area where you fought the first Alpha Drone. As you are crawling back under the gate that you broke with the grenade, you should see the next jammer a little bit to the right on the cliffs above the village.
4.) Backtrack to the house of the guy who wanted the gas mask. Go back under the archway leading into the first village area you entered. Turn right just after the archway. Follow this path until you exit a short arched tunnel. High on the cliffs to the right of the staircase in front of you is the next one.
5.) Head back through the gate you opened to get into the supply depot area. Walk up to the first cliff side on the left. Head all the way down to the rock along that cliff side and look straight out from the cliff side. You should see the last jammer on the cliffs to the left.
After this point, return to the com station and use it. After Gabril tells you to meet him and the feed cuts out, your achievement will unlock.

this is great, but I would add that you need to start at checkpoint 56 to get this if you're going back to get this. I had to hunt a bit to figure out where to start.

Your solution is accurate up to one small point. You will only encounter resistance if you have left enemies standing. I played this on hard and encountered no enemies since I was very thorough on my way up to that point! ^^

At the beginning of Checkpoint 56 (New Venice), go to the right of the first building you come across. Go to the right, kill the guards and go inside. You'll meet Gabril if you activate the video screen. He asks you to destroy 5 signal jammers. You have to use the SCAR gun to destroy them.
From this point you'll have to backtrack a bit to find all 5 signal jammers, as they don't appear until you talk to Gabril.
