*This is a story based achievement, can't miss*
On your way to the space hanger for the 2nd time( first time in the story you get caught and shot) you come across the heavy guard. Best advice to beat him is to hide behind a barrier and make sure the guard is on the other side firing at the barrier. Just wait for the bombs on a rotating rack in the ceiling to pass over the heavy guard and just shoot the bombs down. It should take 2 hits from the bombs to destroy the heavy guard on normal difficulty

there is no rack with bombs coming out of the ceiling at the first mech.

Story-related, cannot be missed.
During Checkpoint 32 (Fuel Transport), you have to defeat a heavy guard to continue. Shoot the fuel tanks that move about the room to drop them on the heavy guard.
