This is a story related achievement, but first you go through an introduction to both main characters...before you get this achievement though you have to go through about 10-20 min, of game play, mainly tutorials, If you're having trouble with "death?" or that first demon who claims to be death, do not try and fight it, just turn tail and run toward a church in the background. You will then continue on with more story and finally the tournament mentioned in this achievement. The Tournament...is divided into multi parts which is the official tutorial of combat.... once beaten the stats page comes back up and FINALLY you get this achievement. You are also introduced to the "curse" gage....

Unlocks after you complete Chapter 1 Mission 3 The Tournament of Ecry.
Some Tips for this mission:
- Progression through the training grounds requires you to perform the moves you are learning numerous times. Only after completing them the set number of times may you end the training and move onto the tournament.
- Also note that for the first two battles in the tournament you must defeat your opponents using the technique that you just learned in the training grounds.
