Yeah i can't understand the 8000+TA score for this game? It seems easy to do all the chevos?

Bear in mind it's on Xbox Game Pass now, which presumably inflates the TA Ratio.

Tried it 3 times yesterday but achievement did not pop. I'm 100% sure I killed 15+ turrets each time.

Worked for me, went back to Stargazer five times just to be sure, then went on to complete mission and popped when landing back at Shard.

Seems glitchy. I killed over 20 turrets and it only registered 9.

I notice there is an update for the game available currently, any chance it might fix such probs?

I have every achievement apart from this one and i must have farmed at least 30 of the turrets and the achievement still hasn't popped up yet....

I've manually counted doing 20 for 4 attempts now. EVERY single time I return to base, it says '4 Destroyed Fixed Targets'. So I only hit 15 the next time, same, only 4 destroyed. Different side missions/main missions/chapters, same result. Fuck this game. 970/1000.

I took a side mission in the Shard chapter (attack a fortification), I made sure to destroy over 15 different turrets across several different fortifications, not returning to respawn, every one was unique, and upon mission completion I had only 8. This is bugged for sure, new update yesterday as well, no dice.

So dumb. I killed 25 turrets, and it only registered 7 at the mission complete screen. Literally my last achievement for this game. What a waste of 4 hours of many many attempts trying to get this and each time they don’t register.

I did 49 using PJTierney 's method and got it first try! I had to alter it a little to get 3 per swoop, as I was getting killed by a big blimp, lol.

Yeah this achievement is broken. Tried the above solutions and some of my own, doesn't matter how many turrets I destroy, none except 1 on a ship counted.

I did this using PJTierney's method yesterday (1st March) and it worked first time.
There was a patch recently, so hopefully that's sorted out any issues.

Just did another run, 20+, only recorded 6 fixed targets. Something's still not fixed with this. Seems if it was broken for you, it still is.

I changed chapter to imperium took all the forts around the map. Changed chapter to mancer. Took every fort and passed every imperial town. On last mancer mission that is. Finished the mission. Didn’t get the achievement. 09/03/21. 👌970/1k Xbox

I got this on the Mancer main mission where you have to free prisoners from Caldera Prison. After beating the mission I flew between Caldera and Westgate destroying all the turrets. I actually got credit for 35 fixed targets destroyed which was probably about correct! Not sure if I just got lucky but glad to finally pop it!

I got this also in the Mancer main mission VIII, Caldera Buster I think it’s called. After destroying the wall at the prison, fly Northwest to Westgate and go back and forth. I got 35 also like CheshireMulisha. Popped at the end.

I did it at the end of the Mancer episode. Took a side mission before the final one, finished it and before heading back, went between Caldera and Westgate back and forth. It's easy, 3 cannons at Caldera and 4 at Westgate, no other birds or ships. 5 minutes later turned it in, got 35 cannons at the results screen and the achievement popped.

I just completed this achievement using the Caldera Buster mission.

What you have to do is make sure that you do not have the Purify enchant equipped, if you do just SELL it. It causes turrets to cause critical damage when they are destroyed so you do not get credit for the kill if they destroy another turret. Ended the mission with 32 turrets destroyed. Overkill but I wanted to make sure I had enough for the achievement. EZ PZ. Great game! Loved it!

The Caldera mission is def the way to go! It registered 81 fixed targets in 15 min xD

I did a run on a mission and I counted over 50 but the game only registered 13, once I saw the comment above I removed the Purify enchant and while doing Mission 3 on Chapter 4 (which takes you near Westgate at the start) I spent about 10 minutes flying between Westgate and Caldera Prison (which have 7 turrets between them) I counted 63 turret kills.

When I finished the mission the game registered 61 and the achievement unlocked.

I followed the OP, but main point is
- SELL the PURIFY enchantment equipment before.
You can buy it back from WitchRock (far right) & will not loose any money.
I also got the achievement for killing 3ships too

unlocked for me today doing a mission in chapter 2 where you clear 5 turrets around temple of Creation. afterwards, I went far south to a pirate turtle base east of Fort Socklus called Atun's Folly that has 10 turrets I think. after destroying those, I flew by Basilicus Primus and the fort nearby for good measure. turning in the mission registered 18.
I had bought every witch enchantment already and never sold any. I checked and the purify item is in my inventory.

Caldera buster worked for me too, kept going back and forth to be safe and got 38 so way overdid it but better to make sure. Thanks!

If you destroy enough turrets, you must go back to the base to turn in the mission, and the achievement will pop up

An alternative farming location for this is Basilicus Primus. I feel this is easier as you can get in, take down 4 turrets and get out again without attracting attention from their air supports.

Start at Shard or Mawbridge and take any side mission.

Head to Basilicus Primus, take down 4 turrets, fly to Dunkle and return. The turrets should respawn, so repeat this 4 or 5 times, complete the mission and collect your reward.

I got it to unlock today. I chose the side mission "Assault the Mancer" from the Shard chapter.

I took out the turrets at Fort Sarsark and Fort Oceanus on my way to Stargazer. Once i got to Stargazer it didn't take long for me to run out of ammo, so i flew away from Stargazer enough so the "Fly Home" option appeared on the pause menu and used it. I bought ammo and went back to Stargazer, took out the turrets and went to Oberons Reach to reset the turrets at Stargazer. Went back to Stargazer, took out a few turrets and ran out of ammo again. Flew home, restocked, took out Stargazer, completed Oberons Reach mission, went back via Stargazer and took out more of the turrets, then flew home and completed the mission.

I probably took out 25-30 turrets but it registered 17 and the achievement popped. I was hoping that all the flying home and landing had something to do with turrets registering. Who can say but it worked for me.
