How to unlock the Yeeeeaaah! achievement in The King of Fighters XIII - Definitive Guide

As with most other things in this game, this is best done in local Versus mode with a second controller. For the uninitiated, an EX Super Special Move is basically a Super Special Move where you press both of the same type of attack move at the same time, rather than just one.

As an example, Terry Bogard's Buster Wolf usually requires you to press D, DF, F + either LK or HK. To make this an EX Buster Wolf, press D, DF, F + LK AND HK at the same time. You can tell you're doing the EX version and not the regular one because the screen will go black.

To grind this out, go into versus and set your character to level 5 and your opponent to level 1. It should take about an hour to knock out if all goes according to plan. Good luck!

An EX Super Special Move is like what an EX Special Move is to a Special Move. The move will consume 2 power stocks opposed to the 1 from a regular Super Special Move. Performing the EX of the Super Special move, just like a Special Move, is simply done by pushing both buttons of that move. Here's an example using one or Kula's Super Special Move:

  • Diamond Edge: + /
  • EX Diamond Edge: +

Just like the EX Special Moves, an EX Super Special Move would be safe to use even if blocked however due to it costing 2 power stocks you don't just want to throw it out. It is a good idea to use it as a punishing tool if you know your opponent is going to dragon punch out of your oki or if you see them with a habit for throwing out random Specials.
