The Last of Us Part I

Spoiler Alert.......This is unlocked during the Last of Us DLC ‘Left Behind’. The DLC is a mix and match of present day (following Joel getting impaled during the campaign) and Ellie’s past story prior to meeting Joel. Play through the storyline as normal until you get to a section within the mall in Ellie’s past story whereby you and Riley turn the power on, you will know you are up to the right point as the carousel will be spinning around at the bottom of the escalator. Feel free to explore the area before moving upstairs and into the arcade area, there are two (2) playable machines in here, both of which present you with a trophy. In the back left corner you will find a jak and daxter arcade machine which nets you an achievement for playing and the back right corner will have the arcade machine for this achievement. The machine itself doesn’t work so Riley has you imagine playing it and this is where the achievement begins. The fighting is essentially tekken/street fighter like and requires you to press a combination of buttons over and over until the enemy ‘Blackfang’ is defeated. Now, whilst the achievement states you must defeat the enemy without getting hit, this isn’t necessarily accurate, I did it the first time without getting hit but missed one button combo and didn’t net the achievement. More so, you need to get a perfect run which means getting every button combo correct within the time limit. If you fail a button combo just restart the checkpoint and try again, you will know you have done it when at the end it says something about a ‘perfect’ run. If like me you got past this and didn’t get the achievement and forgot to restart, you can just reload the chapter upon completion of the DLC.
