How to unlock the Best Score Ever achievement in The Simpsons Arcade Game - Definitive Guide

Killing bosses, enemies, eating food and winning minigames will earn you points. I did this online with this with a friend and was short just a few points so if you do it by yourself, I'm sure you will get it. If not, do it in the Japanese ROM as it's much easier there.

Select a Japanese ROM and just play. By the second or third level you can already collect the required amount, especially if you win the bonus level.

At the beginning of the game, Japan ROM is not available. To activate it without playing the American ROM, you need to press successively on the welcome screen (where “press START”)

UP–UP–DOWN–DOWN–LEFT–RIGHT–LEFT–RIGHT– –

the message “Excellent! All Items Unlocked" and the Japanese ROM and all options in the Cool Stuff section will become available.

If you play USA ROM, you can get the missing points on the boss in the seventh level - purple ninjas spawn endlessly next to him - they give one point for each
