How to unlock the Mr. Sparkle achievement in The Simpsons Arcade Game - Definitive Guide

In this mode you only have 1 life and 0 continues. Luckily on the Japanese ROM, there are some nukes placed around the level for you to use, you can be on easy mode and you can overheal. Overhealing is when you eat an item with full health and it will continue to heal you, giving you part of another, yellow, health bar. Be sure to keep your distance and use range to your advantage, most enemies die in 1 to 2 hits but the fat pink shirted enemies die in 3. Be sure to use the hammer and slingshot when you find it, you only need to reach the end of stage 3, not beat it. To unlock the ROM, beat the game once and choose it when editing the game options.

Play with either two or four if you have a good team.

At the first level, you don’t have to worry so much about your life, since the level is quite easy, but you shouldn’t relax either. When you get to the car, go underneath and lift it up to find extra energy.

In the second level, try to use the jump attack more often, and in the middle of the stage be sure to pick up a hammer. All enemies with it are taken out with one hit, which will greatly help against grandfathers on cups. Try to reach the boss with the hammer, as with it you can kill him very quickly, the main thing is not to be too greedy and dodge when the boss starts jumping or throwing bombs.

On the third level, move carefully and attack with a jump. Additional energy can be found near some trees. Be sure to pick up a slingshot; with it, enemies also die in one hit.

When you reach the elevator, you can quickly hit the enemies standing near the edge while the elevator is descending with a simple attack so that they immediately fall down, take out everyone else with a jump attack.

When the elevator stops, you can knock food out of the barrels to replenish energy if you are low on life and there are still some enemies left.

After the elevator, go a little to the right and a boss will appear. It is not necessary to kill him, since you will be given a trophy when you just reach him.

If you are left alone by level 3, then don’t tear your hair out, you can go through it alone without any problems, the main thing is to leave at least half of your life bar until the moment with the elevator, then there are high chances of winning.

At the beginning of the game, Japan ROM is not available. To activate it without playing the American ROM, you need to press successively on the welcome screen (where “press START”)

UP–UP–DOWN–DOWN–LEFT–RIGHT–LEFT–RIGHT– –

the message “Excellent! All Items Unlocked" and the Japanese ROM and all options in the Cool Stuff section will become available.

You can also go alone. I succeeded about 10 times, just use all the items that you come across during the level to kill enemies with one hit. Try it a few times and everything will work out. By the way, we tried to boost this trophy several times together. It seemed to me that it was even easier alone.

On the third level there are a bunch of hidden first aid kits. AT THE VERY BEGINNING of the level on the leftmost tree. Jump and hit the crown - there is a chicken there. On one of the next trees there will be an apple, also hidden in the crown. Then after a while there will be more food, but already lying under a tree. It is slightly visible. With that much HP you can get through without any problems.

Install Japanese ROM, select Lisa, Easy difficulty. We do everything by video . In principle, nothing complicated.
