In order to unlock this achievement you will need to purchase 5 Karma Powers from the challenge shop. You can find this by pressing the back button (while in game) and going to the last menu option to the right "Challenges & Rewards". From there press X to bring up the "Challenge Shop" and from that menu you can scroll down and find the karma powers you want to purchase.

Listed below are the 5 powers you need to purchase, their purchase price, and unlock conditions.

Divine Intervention: (150) Explore the catacombs after dark. The catacombs are located at a building called "Specter Family Mausoleum" in the top left of the town map. I did this around 2 a.m. just to make sure it was really night time but i suppose any time after the sun goes down would probably work. Doing this will also unlock another achievement "I Double Dare Ya".

Stroke of Genius: (150) To unlock this power for purchase your sim needs to take a class at any business that is offering one. For example I had my sim take a class at the local school.

Good Times: (150) For this power you need to get your sim to have 5 positive moodlets at one time. You can get positive moodlets for doing things like eating a good meal, or resting in a comfy bed, or enjoying your surroundings because of the art. This is an easy one to unlock.

Giant Jackpot: (200) To unlock this power for purchase you must raise your household's value to 35,000 simoleons or more. You can increase your houses value either by adding rooms to it, or stuffing it full of expensive furniture, your choice.

Get Lucky: (300) To unlock you must have a first kiss. Pretty self explanatory.
