How to unlock the Purge achievement in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre - Definitive Guide

This one sucks for a few reasons:

1. Need to play as Ana, she has the ability. This is the tamest part

2. The family needs to have a Sissy

3. You have to walk into her poison cloud then use the ability.

Not a major pain due to the fact you can back out of lobby and queue another if you REALLY want this achievement, but I would advise playing a different character or play the match anyways as you’ll need a lot of xp for the level 50 achievement

Edit: If Sissy poisons and item and you pick it up use the ability! It counts!

When you say, "while you have your ability ready", are you saying to activate the ability before you go in the poison cloud, or activate it once you're IN the poison cloud?

based on the achievement description I believe you need to walk into the poison then activate your ability

I've tried both repeatedly today to no avail. The only thing that's got me one so far was when I activated it upon being chased by sissy, then as I was jumping in a well she hit me with it just as my ability was ending.

Can confirm it tracks if you pickup a poisoned item and immediately use the ability. You'll know it was poisoned from the loud shrieking sound.

I've been trying to do it. I do it before and during the poison and I've only gotten 50 percent . It seems to be glitched for me.

Took a whole ass day, but I found the best way(assuming they have a siss) is to just find and collect as many valve handles and fuses as you can find and hope she poisoned at least one of them. Activate after picking the item up and hearing a shrieking sound.

All you need to do for this achievement is to play as Ana on Victim side.
Make sure there is a Sissy on Family and walk through her green poison cloud.
Then you use your ability.

There will be no lack of poison clouds when playing against a Sissy..

Ana's ultimate. If activated, it will significantly reduce the damage dealt to the survivor for a period of time and neutralize the effect of Sissy's poison.
Actually, to get the trophy, you need to fly into a cloud of poison while under the effect of this ability as a survivor

And it feels like it's credited when you've already entered the cloud and only then activated the ability. Also, some people write that it's also credited on poisonous items if you activate the ability after you've taken them.

I also recommend taking the perk "Clear Eyes" for this, which highlights poisoned objects (in the original "Clear Eyes").

You need to remove the poisoning effect from the character 4 times. Not in one game, the statistics are cumulative. Both the effect of using poisoned things and passing through a poisonous cloud are counted. If you have picked up some poison, wait a second or two to be sure, turn on the ability and cleanse yourself of the poison. And do this 4 times.
