Get a character (not your player level) to level 10 by earning skill points then once you get to level 10 press respec and it will give you all your skill points back allowing you to mess around with the skill tree and take different paths as far as I know you can do this as many times as you want

According to another guide for the achievement to get all characters to level 5, someone used the respec option to de-level and relevel other characters so this is kinda like a two birds one stone achievement
