Additional to MastahMatt's concise solution, this achievement may not pop until you pick up the musicians in the level select hub. I had finished the game and was 100% certain all musicians had been picked up, but the achievement didn't pop until I had picked up the musicians outside the actual levels themselves before this was awarded.
