How to unlock the On the Path achievement in The Walking Dead: Season Two - Definitive Guide

Story Related, cannot be missed.
Episode 1. Third Achievement.
(Mostly Spolier Free)
After a sad kill/spare scene, you'll be saved by two guys.
Not sure if the kill/spare scene has any effect on the 2 guys. (attacked if spared?)

(Edit: results of kill/spare scene have no effect on gameplay)

whatever you do to the dog has no effect on the storyline or the two people.

Just completed all seasons and "On the Path" didn't unlock...?

Update: For some reason the whole first chapter was missing when I tried to go back and redo it. So I just started a new game and the achievement popped this time. Glad the glitch was at beginning of game!

The achievement didn't pop for me neither, did chapter select on Chapter 6 and played it through and got saved and it popped. This achievement also has a lower unlock rating than the others, so I guess this is just one of the achievement that don't pop for everyone the first time

for me the issues with unlocking wasn't random (that doesn't change the fact that it was still annoying).. but what caused it for me was my controller turning off (100% correlation between that and no achievement popping throughout my playthrough)

i hope this helps someone (there could be other random reasons i just wanted to share that i caught onto my own personal reason for it not working while other people have told me that not pausing and/or not quick resuming was the trick for them)
