THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT

This achievement is obtainable during the quest entitled "Scenes From a Marriage" and is highly missable.

After entering the Painted World (via a cutscene), you will be required to restore all of Iris von Everec's memories in order to progress with the quest. This is done by approaching the still memory and using your Witcher Senses to find clues on how to recreate the scene (such as picking up and placing a misplaced item in a specific spot).

There are a total of 7 story-related memories that need to be restored (the fountain, the dinner table, the bedroom, the painting studio, Olgierd's study, the estate's cellar, and the dining room). There is also 1 optional, MISSABLE memory in the courtyard gazebo of the Painted World.

The gazebo is located directly ahead of you once you enter the World, so make sure to head there and recreate its memory! Other than that, the remaining 7 memories are all mandatory/story-related and cannot be missed. Once the dining room memory has been restored, this achievement will unlock.

Missable Achievement played during the quest Scenes from a Marriage.

After burying Iris' remains you will be transported to the painting world. At this point you will be required to restore Von Ererec's memories. In order to get the achievement you need to restore ALL memories, which some are missable.

1 Immediately to the right you will see Von Everec in a gazebo painting, run over to this and a brief cut scene will play. Use your witcher senses to interact with various objects, which inclue a teapot, a palette and a book. Place the book in Olgeirds hands, and place the palette on the small table to the right of him. As soon as the second item is placed a longer cutscene will play. This is the first nightmare unlocked.

Run down the steps and you will be attacked by spiders, after defeating them take the immediate right after the steps and you will see a lootable object which will be a bouquet of flowers.

2, Now you will see a fountain with the two lovers standing. This is the second memory. Use your witcher senses to find a drinking glass on the fountain. Place this glass in Van emerec's hand and the second memory will trigger. make sure you save beforehand as you will be attacked immediatly after the scene ends. After defeating the enemies, use you witcher senses around the fountain again and make sure you collect, a second bouquet and a wedding veil.

3, You will come to a large dining table with people sat around, this will be the third memory. Make sure you use your witcher senses and interact with the items in red. Now you will see a large painting on the back wall which is of the dinner scene. Interact with this and attempt to recreate the dinner scene so it matches the painting eg, light the two candles on the table. Finally light the fireplace and the third memory will trigger.

4, Use your witcher senses and interact with all the red objects. First, Loot the Bloody towel which is in front of the bed. Now go to the bedside table and loot the night lamp, over the far side of the room is a lottable night gown. Interact by the sink and place the bloody towell near Olgerid. This will trigger memory 4.

5 In the next room Again you need to recreate the scene which the painter is painting. Go to the painting and interact withit this will allow you to view the scene. Loot the fruit bowl from the back drawers and a drinking glass from a chair by the window. Now interact with the table by Olgierd, Place the goblet, grapes and apple in the correct position according to the painting. When they are correct the 5th memory will trigger.

follow the path, defeating the spectres on the way and go into Von Emerc's study.

6, Immediatly next to the door is a book Between Worlds which can be looted from the floor. Further up is a piece of chalk on a bookcase. On the otherside of the room grab a second book called Blood Pacts and a Beeswax candle. Interact with the pentagram and choose place the candles surrounding the pentagram . This will trigger memory 6.

After the cutscene the room will be on fire and draining your oxygen. Run over to the painting and interact with it. This will take you outside. Run through the snow into an open cellar door.

7, In the cellar use your witcher senses, grab a mug and a pipe near the barrels in the corner, loot a knife off the table, a marriage contract on the floor near Iris. Interact with the guy standing up, place the marriage contract in his hand, now interact with Olgierd and place the mug in his hand.

defeat the specters and follow the map into the final memory sequence.

8 Again use your senses and interact with any red objects, Grab the food tray from near the fire, on the other side of the fire grab the large and small bowls. Interact with the rug place the large bowl near the dog and the small bowl near the cat. Go over to the caretaker and place the food tray in his arms triggering the final sequence.

The achievement will immediately pop after this sequence.

Story related, yet missable. You need to repair all the nightmares, that you encounter when you enter the painted world. People seem to miss the very first nightmare the most. It is located (and indicated on the map) right where you enter the painted world. Basically what you need to do is find the right things and put them in the hands of right people. All the other nightmares from there are properly marked and it does not seem you can miss them, since they open the doors for you to the next phase of the story.
