How to unlock the Rad Steez, Bro! achievement in THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT - Definitive Guide

Got the achievement a while back but seeing as no one else has mentioned this method thought I'd put it out there. I would say it's easier than the other methods posted here and a lot quicker to setup.

Head to the Western Gate fast travel point in Oxenfurt, Velen.

Using the above image as a guide, go towards the building with the little pole on the roof (just visible between the tree and past travel post above). You should then be looking at these two roof's

Simple drop down and run up the roof on the left. Geralt will begin sliding, and jam against the roof on the right. Simply hold him there (may need slight adjustments to stay in position) for 10 seconds and jump off. Achievement yours. Hope it helps!

Did not work for me for some reason. Had to do the distillery slide instead and start a bit higher up than that solution suggested for it to unlock.

This worked wonders... I had done more than a 10 count on multiple slopes, even using two tents I found by mistake, but it this never poppped. This spot is easier to sustain than others and after going over 20 seconds I let the slide end and got it.

Fast travel to Yngvar's Fang, in the northernmost island in Skellige, and once there, save game in case you have to try more than once. Then, face north and jump over the fence just right of the stairs, as this video shows:


Aim for the broad slide with goats that runs into the water, and slalom a little in there so you gain a couple of seconds, and you'll get the achievement easily.

I had little luck doing it this way, found it easier to stick to the right (staying on the raised part from the beginning as long as possible). Either way, useful guide!

Craphex, that was happening to me too, but i managed to get it by veering over to the left side where the goats are, aim to the left from when you start sliding. Managed to slide all the way down this way.

Or fast travel to the forest hut north of midcopse in velen, behind the hut runs a shallow ditch. Geralt will be caught between the walls of the hut and the slope resulting in a permanent slide, wait 10 seconds and there you go. Unlocked today using this method.

I found a solution that to me was much easier. Go to Yngvar's Fang and at the top you'll see a circular path going down. Just walk down that path and you'll start sliding. You'll keep sliding for quite awhile with little to no steering needed. Did it on my first try.

After being unable to get it done like in the video, I was ready to use a different video. I went to the fast travel spot, missed and slipped down the hill. When I kept sliding, I went with it (since the slide seemed longer than the video) and got the achievement.

I actually got the achievement using the Yngvar's Fang method, but I have just found another spot that will be even easier and probably more reliable. You can fast travel to Rogne (the town directly East of Kaer Trolde Harbor fast travel point), and follow the path East and then North up the mountain to some Guarded Treasure seen in this picture:

Once you get there, just jump over the wall on the north side and slide down the mountain into the water. If you watch this video, it should give you an idea of the path I took. (Note: I already had the achievement, so it doesn't pop, but it is more than enough time to get the achievement)

A good spot for this is at the "Distillery" fast travel point in the east of Skellige's main island. Now slide down the hill and you should earn the achievement. It is advised that you save before attempting this, as it could result in failure or death. Here is a video, credit to PowerPyx, to aid you if your having issues:

Difficulty: Easy

While you can probably do this at any big cliff, there is one in particular without any bumps, and a nice obstacle free path (about 12 seconds of sliding too).
Yngvar's Fang in Northern Skellige is the place. First you need to travel to the top (lots of running and jumping), where you'll find a chest, signpost, and a place of power. Here's your slide. Slide down from the mountain, steering carefully, and you'll have a trophy a few second later.

Skellige is the best place to get this, as it is an area with many mountains for you to slide downhill. One spot that works great is at the "Distillery". It is located on the main isle of Skellige towards the east. The entrance is located right by the slope of the cliff. Go off the wooden walkway and down the hill. Slide down for you trophy.

Another, less deadly way of achieving this is finding a steep mountain or hill side with a tree placed on or almost at the end of it. Try sliding against that tree and if you continue to hear the sliding sound, just wait until the achievement pops up.

Accidentally came across this right in the heart of Velen, I think I was on a contract mission where you have to find an entrance into a hill. Running around it I came into sliding and ended up on that tree, and as I knew this achievement from the GOG version I played two years ago, I was just waiting that 10 second and - et voila! :-)

This achievement can be earned in An Skellig. Specifically, you’ll want to travel up to the Place of Power (Quen) on the northwestern tip of the island. If you’ve already been there however, you can use the Yngvar’s Fang fast travel point to reach your destination quickly. 

Once you’re on the landing of the mountain, turn slightly to your right and you should notice a small walkway, built with stonewalls on either side. Continue down this walkway and the steps along the dirt path will cut off into a steep slope. Move off the path and onto the slope, causing Geralt to slide down the face of the mountainside for approximately 10.1 seconds. When you reach the bottom of the slope, you should be facing the open mouth of a cave and the achievement will unlock.

Another place you can naturally earn this achievement is halfway through the quest The Path of Warriors in Skellige. Once you've completed the mountain climbing portion of the quest you're directed to go down to the cave entrance and are forced to slide down to it - if you aim Geralt properly and slide to the cave while avoiding obstacles you can earn this achievement. Handily, there is a fast travel point at the top of this hill (Yngvar's Fang)!

On Skelig in the quest Exercises in Higher Alchemy when you go to the distillery right at the entrance there is a descent from the mountain leading to the sea, we go down and get a trophy

There is another simple way: after the credits, we run back to the cave, go up the stairs and go out to the right, where there are two more monster nests. I rolled down the hill carefully and got the trophy.

There is a good way to get this trophy. Take your Roach, drive it up to the hill and place it at a slight angle, then slide into it, it’s quite big to go around it.

Find any mountain with trees and slide into the tree, when you hit the tree, the sliding does not stop, wait 10 seconds and the treasured “crap” is yours.
