Once you make the live shows, you'll see your placement by how high your percentage is of the overall votes after you sing. At each live show, you'll have a placement. If you finish first, your bar will be golden instead of red, which makes for easy checking.
If you skipped your placement, you can check all your placements at the TV in the hub area before singing.
After your third live show win, the achievement will pop once you are in the hub area.
Finally, winning the final show does NOT count towards the three live show wins. You'll need to have already unlocked the achievement before singing in the final.

After you finish a live show, the "audience" will vote for who was their favorite. Once they do, the people who are staying will be revealed in the order of who received the most to least amount of votes. You need to be the person with the most votes for 3 of the 8 shows. This isn't as hard as it sounds though as long as you do fairly decent on the songs. To make it easier, I would pick easier songs when possible and try to rack up as many points as possible to get this out of the way as fast as possible so you don't have to worry about it later on. If you at anytime forget how many 1st place rankings you have so far, you can check it from your dressing room menu (it's the TV with the bar graph on it) and see the results of the previous weeks. Once you finish in 1st for the third time in the competition during your career, the trophy will pop!
