After defending Asgard, Loki will appear and tell you he has seen a bomb. Fly down to find the large crystal bomb.
Your aim is to stop the flaming and flying scorchers from running at and shooting the bomb without using any combos involving the Y button.
I found it best to run around the bomb doing quick hammer throws at the enemies. On normal flamers take 2 hit, flyers only one.
Ignore the 2 big demons as they only go for you, they don't attack the bomb. Only take them down once no more scorchers appear.
The achievement will pop as soon as the drill appears, meaning you can use elements to free the bomb.

you can still used the charged hammer throw with the valhalla refills. made it much simpler.

During Asgard Besieged, you will have to defend a large bomb from small Infernir enemies that explode. Use Hammer Throws or normal Melee combos to keep them away from the bomb, but do not use any elemental powers at all. Simply don't press 
at all during this section, and this should drop as soon as you progress to the next section, in which you have to destroy the supports of the bomb before the drill detonates it.
